If you want to justify Hill's actions that's fine, it just makes you look like a moron to dismiss what he has done and then to call Manziel a douche who should be crucified for being accused (not even proven) of signing a few pictures for money.

not sure what he was supposed to even say since he didn't want to say anything that would f-ck them with the NCAA

it did kind of seem to me that he said Uncle Nate is now out of the picture without really saying it explicitly though.

Ok, as someone who hasn't been reading this thread and changes ESPN every time they mention JFF, can anyone give me cliffs of where they are at now?

Cowherd: "Over 2000 items have been certified as being signed by Johnny. Is it your opinion that those were for free?"

...15 seconds of silence...

Johnny's attorney: "Uhhhhh I can't get into that."

Johnny's attorney did him no favors in the eye of public opinion.

So it's OK for you aggies to minimize his signings (you say a few pics when we all know it's thousands)...but it's not OK for the LSU guys to clarify the diff b/w "rape" and "2 high school kids making bad choices". She was at school when it happened so we KNOW that she wasn't passed out drunk at a party. Get the facts straight before you idiots judge JHill.

Brent Zwerneman ?@BrentZwerneman 44s
Jim Darnell also told me for anyone hoping otherwise, this 'is not going to be a short process.'

Brent Zwerneman ?@BrentZwerneman 8m
Darnell told me he never said there was no NCAA investigation, only 'that's just part of their rules, I can't say yea or nay.'

Brent Zwerneman ?@BrentZwerneman 10m
Just visited w/ Jim Darnell. Said he's confident because there are 'awful lot of pics out there' but none of Manziel receiving $.

Depends on if you're talking about total or consecutive. Big difference.

- there may or may not be an ongoing official investigation of Manziel. From the lawyer speak, it seems that the NCAA has not actually sent a NOI suggesting they haven't actually found enough evidence to indicate a violation has occurred

- ESPN has stopped using the term investigation

- Texas A&M lawyered up Monday

- Manziel lawyered up a few weeks ago though it was just discovered yesterday. It's an outstanding question why he did so before the allegations were made public

- no new info has been made public on the case since ESPN broke the story and followed up with other sources saying they paid Manziel. To date, no one has gone on record saying he was paid (only anonymous sources have). All of the anonymous sources have specifically mentioned they have no interest in cooperating with the NCAA

This whole thread is supposed to be about JFF and potential NCAA violations, but all the TAMU folks keep on harping on stuff happening at other schools.

If you want to start a thread about stupid shite players from other schools do, then start a new thread about it. 225 pages and maybe a quarter of them have been dedicated to talking about LSU. Good Grief!!

The lawyer says he doesn't expect Manziel to miss playing time and makes it sound like the NCAA doesn't yet have enough evidence to start an "official" investigation.
