So he's lying about having authentic Manziel autographs? That doesn't seem like good business
Are you really this slow? I'm pretty sure he is saying that the broker is lying about giving JFF money

I hope Manziel plays. It will be much more fun this season with him up to his hijinx every weekend. All my aggie buds will have to put up with him partying down and tweeting stupid shite.

Rock on JFF!

Probably not, but he could definitely be lying about paying Manziel. What does he have to lose by lying, especially since he never intended for his identity to become known?

No shite. I'm pointing out how stupid that logic is. "This guy seems to be shady as all get out, so that probably means his dealings with JFF were on the up and up."

Makes perfect sense.

Wonder if he tried to extort the Manziel family. They told him to piss off and he went public.

Did rift with memorabilia dealers fuel Manziel controversy?
August 7, 2013 3:32 pm ET

Rob Rudolph admits he's enjoyed watching Johnny Manziel's struggles this offseason. The 46-year-old from Tampa says on the subject of Manziel's off-field headlines, "it's kinda funny." He suspects a whole bunch of other people in his business, memorabilia dealers around the country, are getting a kick out of the Texas A&M star's issues with being investigated by the NCAA too.

"When his family filed to patent his name, 'Johnny Football,' all of us dealers, and I'm talking like 500 of us, had items on eBay related to Johnny Manziel," Rudolph told CBSSports.com Wednesday. "They weren't necessarily signed by him. I had Heisman programs from where he won the Heisman. So on that listing it would say, 'Johnny Manziel, Johnny Football, Texas A&M Heisman Program.' eBay swiped across the country and took all of those items down. All of 'em. And, in addition to that, they banned everyone who had done it for two weeks. No prior warning or nothing.

It actually does make sense. A very shady individual would love to lie about having a video in order to make money. Im not saying the guy is lying or not, but him having a not so honest past make his lying for money seem more plausible does it not?

Considering the specifics of how they got much of their fortune, I wouldn't want to get on their bad side.

This Tiemann guy is gonna end up at the bottom of a lake somewhere.

it turns out the guy accusing Manziel whose name came out is a convicted drug dealer...He also gave a false statement to police back in 2009.

And for some reason you think this makes it LESS likely that he paid JFF for his signatures?

No, but it does make it MORE LIKELY he would lie about a video in order to try and make some money. I am not saying he is lying or not, but his past makes him less believable

So now we have the motive...Revenge...

It means his word is useless and he cant be trusted.

If he is willing to lie to police in a sworn statement, something that carries with it potential jail time, what is stopping him from lying to an ESPN reporter as an anonymous source?
