I don't care about a Manziel suspension from a football aspect. He just comes off as a smug entitled douchebag and I want to see him fall flat on his face. Even if I was an aTm fan I don't think I would be able to stand him.

This stuff is just getting started. Every media outlet and the NCAA will be or are contacting every vendor of Manziel signed memorabilia. And brokers get photos of the signing to prove authenticity.
Here's a football for sale on Amazon LINK
Look what the vendor says:
There are 95 items on Amazon right now. There are over 400 on EBAY. And these are just those for sale now.
Back in March on ebay there were 108 active listings and 538 “sold” of Manziel autographed memorabilia. LINK
If there are numerous photos of him signing stacks of memorabilia in hotel rooms, even without proof of payment, how does he respond? Out of the goodness of his heart he devalued his own autograph by signing what appears to be thousands of items for no money?

This is a Texas A&M Aggies logo football signed by Johnny Manziel. football has been signed in a black sharpie. This item will come with a Certificate of Authenticity (of our own design) as well as a picture of the athlete/celebrity signing for us. The picture of the athlete/celebrity signing for us is property of Authentic_Memorabilia only. All of our items are obtained in person and are 100% authentic.

He signed two balls, a picture, and a magazine for my family and I for nothing.
I didn't even ask for the ball he signed.

The border of the signed football in that Amazon link was the worst 'shop job I've ever had the displeasure of seeing.

I realize you are an TAMU homer, but come on. It's pretty obvious that he was paid to sign these autographs. Whether or not there is any proof is another thing, but don't kid yourself.

So how did this thread go from JFF to Kate Upton and Lindsey Lohan?

Did he sign them in your hotel room with a stack of other items as well? It isn't the items he signed for the fans that are the problem, its those other pesky items that are going to bite him in the arse

I didn't say that he did or didn't get paid by the brokers.
All that I said is he signed stuff for my family for free.
I know for a fact that he signed tons of shite that his family was giving out for free.

The broker said he secured so many autographs from Manziel that not all of them had been listed for sale. He stated some had been sold on eBay and some had been passed on to dealers. He also said that Manziel's friend and personal assistant -- Nate Fitch -- was not present or involved in the alleged transactions.
Well there went the "I didn't know anything, Nate must've been doing this on his own" defense.

For your football team this is much worse. Id even argue for the program if Johnny gets ruled ineligible. tOSU was still tOSU. Plus they got Meyer out of the deal. They had 1 National title 3 appearances in the BCS era. Yall have a cotton bowl victory, soon to be disgraced heisman winner, and a one hit wonder season. Lots of truth in this statement.
Well thought out and put together.
He left out Third Place in the SEC West.

Were they authenticated in sequential order by a broker with a photo of him signing and were there hundreds of items?
I think it's total bullshite that athletes can't make money off their own autograph and frankly I've wondered why the NCAA doesn't step in when I see so many on ebay. Here I think Manziel took it way way too far. I don't see how he gets out of hit.

Oh he definitely did it - whether he plays or not is another question. If the backups appear ready to go, he may not play another snap
