I thought I clarified that for you. He should join the lawsuit against the NCAA.

So you're suggesting is that he say to the NCAA, so what if i got paid, i should get paid anyway?

They have the power to declare Uncle Douche an agent, though, which I would be sincerely concerned about at this point.

That is the main thing I am worried about as well.

They sure have been soft about it lately though.

No argument. They are nothing if not inconsistent. They've been under constant fire for it too. If they give Johnny a wrist slap after making A.J. Green miss four games over a thousand bucks... Well, I think the world may actually explode, and ground zero will be in Athens, GA.

If anything, I worry that they'll go overboard and strip his eligibility for the whole year, if not permanently.

Anyone who thinks that the NCAA has to have proof beyond some reasonable doubt has to be a delusional fruitcake.

The NCAA has a whole filing cabinet full of ways to frick you.

Yep...all those legal rights get put on the back shelf when a player signs on the dotted line.

The Compliance Manual is over 1,000 pages; that's why member schools have a STAFF of people who do nothing but review their school's practices and procedures.

If the NCAA catches Manziel lying in their investigation, his college career is toast.

kind of hard to play that card when you complete the contract by doing something you normally wouldn't.

He most certainly did not complete a contract. He would have had to enter a contract in order for that to happen. He did not. His personal assistant however appears to have done so.

We have gone over this.

Not necessarily. I think he could still deny receiving autograph payments, AND join the suit. Do you think he should lose his eligibility if he sold autographs? Maybe he should. I'm not really sure how I feel about that.

Yep...broke a rule. Until all can do it, legally, then one shouldn't.

You really are delusional.

If the agent makes a deal, you complete the deal. It's as if you made the deal. It's that whole fiduciary relationship thing.

yes we have gone over it, and you are obtuse.

So did he sign the thousands of autographs? yes or no? simple question

I'm pretty certain they closed that loophole.

Have gone over this too. They did not. They have no language addressing this. When the NCAA made their "changes", I stated then they had not closed pandora's box.

They have not fixed everything, and unless the NCAA reaches, JFF will alk and we will hear the same speech. "it was clearly wrong, but we just didn't have legal ground to stand on... will change rules to fix it"

Doesn't matter if some homer on a message board thinks he signed 'em. Aren't there like two authentication agencies who seem to think he signed em?

Seriously. He and Uncle Agent met a memorabilia broker... at an airport... in South Florida... after Uncle Agent told another broker months earlier that autographs held a price tag... and signed HUNDREDS of autographs...

...and "didn't know?"

And seriously, Pops Newton and Cam met MSU coaches at a hotel on a visit and it was at the hotel that Pops asked for money! And you think seriously that Cam didn't know?

Even if so, the NCAA selectively enforces their own rules. If you think they're going to be caught with their pants down twice you're an idiot.

Irrelevant. Cam isn't being investigated.

I wouldn't call it soft. Just inconsistent. And FWIW, they hit USC pretty hard.
