Yeah it might get bad but not Arkansas bad because Johnelle 'Smile' Smith won't be coaching em up.

When Arky hired him as interim you just knew they were fricked.

IMO Bielema was a great hire, he likes to run the footballand usually has pretty stout defenses.

Yup.

Sumlin>Manziel

Ditto, and there's no way in hell Sumlin knew about this. He does not impress me as the type of coach who puts up with a lot. Ask CMike.

I loved CMike, but his attitude last year was a crying shame.

Same here but it's all good. Great freshman year, season-ending leg injuries the next two years, flipped out stupid his senior year (no excuses for him, but perhaps related to having his seasons cut short the previous two years), but now the Seahawks are raving about him. He'll be fine, I think. But I don't think Sumlin is on his Christmas card list

My concern isn't the crime, but the spot he has put his team in under the existing rules.

Yeah... just because we don't like or agree with a rule doesn't mean we don't still have to play by it.

bingo. like i said, losing manziel takes away any chance vs bama and lsu, but we should be able to beat everyone else

You know, actually... if you were force to choose a season to lose a player like Manziel, 2013 wouldn't be a bad choice...

You're probably right. One of the things that made him such a great player was that he "played angry." Unfortunately, I think that anger might have spilled over to affect his general attitude. Some tough circumstances, to be sure. I wish him well with the Seahawks, though.

You know, after going to Shaggybevo to get the real story on what's going on, I have to conclude that the real douche in all of this is Uncle Nate.

Nothing I've seen or heard about him says anything but "DOUCHE."

Which made him a perfect fit with JFF, amirite?

You're paying attention! Good on ya. If he sits out this year he'll almost certainly be back next year along with 2 Sumlin recruiting classes, and '14 is when A&M will be stacked. Aggies have been drooling over the possibility of Manziel coming back for '14 for a while. Of course they didn't see it happening quite like this.

That said, I hope this gets cleared up and the goofus plays this year (as long as there's no cloud of impending doom).

I dunno, man. Johnny's doucheness is more of the "privileged, pampered, out-of-control rich college boy" nature. Nate just feels... and looks... like fricking opportunistic scum. A hanger-on.

Assuming that the relationship between Johnny (and, by extension, Clan Manziel) and TAMU doesn't go horribly, horribly wrong during all of this.

Yeah, he's a douchenozzle, but mainly because he's been allowed and enabled to be. Not entirely his fault, but still.

The worst kind of human being, IMO. One who preys on others like that. Sickening.

Yeah, I saw all of those. He's just... like... he looks like the kind of guy Sumlin wouldn't want hanging on to his superstar QB like a dingleberry.
