OP should be called 'As the Hedges Burn'

We've got to keep standard here.

Dude, everyone cheats, that you're pretending like Georgia isn't at the forefront just shows you how much of a dumb fricking homer you can be about Georgia.

yeah... clearly I indicated that there is no chance that Georgia is cheating in any way. I must have since you seem to think so, right?

LINK

quote:

Is there evidence now? Again, we're not talking about run of the mill cheating that happens at literally every P5 campus, right? You're talking about something above and beyond what is happening at other schools? Because if you're talking about $100 handshakes, you'll likely not find a rational mind at ANY school who thinks this doesn't happen.

quote:

I say this not as someone who thinks it's impossible to believe that we could be cheating... shite I hope we are. The NCAA has proven that they have next to no ability to police it so run wild... IDGAF. But to date, there is no credible evidence to believe that UGA is doing anything more than what is happening elsewhere other than hurt feelings.

Please tell me how much more of a dumb fricking homer *I* am... it's amusing to spectate the lengths you'll go to make your vapid existence more visible.

quote:

I don't need examples, I don't need to explain myself at length, it's obvious. It's like explaining to you why the sky is blue. Most of your posters said it was a relationship and then the insiders, must be! Georgia, doing something outside of the lines? Can't be.

... With no information, speculation went around about a relationship. That pretty quickly was refuted since it wouldn't make a lot of sense to fire the underling and suspend the superior in that case... that has lawsuit written all over it. If you need more clarification on why you're incorrect, see the linked post above... Not one insider has claimed that there was any specific NCAA violation, rather that one person repeatedly refused to follow internal compliance procedures... And that their superior either couldn't or wouldn't control them... thus one firing, and one suspension. But keep in mind.. internal policies are typically more stringent than the NCAA, specifically for this reason. If you frick up a policy, it doesn't lead to any penalties for the university... this is sort of the definition of institutional control.

I suppose you can go back to high fiving yourself over Mullen's shitty dad jokes? Or the fact that it'll only be 1000 days since your last win over Georgia when the game rolls around this year? I dunno what Florida fans get excited about anymore? Just keep thinking about the closing talent gap... that'll hold you through the off season.

No, he actually inherited a mess at OL, WR, and QB. The roster as a whole was severely under developed by Richt.

There isn't a bit of difference between Kirby and Richt. They are the same guy essentially only Richt has a better record at this point in their respective tenures. Both blow games they should have won, both get blown out at least once a year and both can't win a National Championship because you are Georgia and that isn't what you do.

You are a dumb homer who likely barks in opposing fans faces.

Mark Richt first 3 seasons:
32-8 1 SEC Championship and a Sugar Bowl Win

Kirby Smart first 3 seasons:
32-10 1 SEC Championship and a Rose Bowl Win

My favorite thing about you has to be your consistency. You're consistently an idiot, but you don't give up ground. Props.

For the 1 Billionth time. We didn't fire early Richt. We fired late Richt... If Kirby is putting up 2013-2015 level Richt performances in 10 years, you might have a point in about a decade. But Richt in year 3 was one of the hottest coaches in the league... So you're making the point for us that he's one of the best coaches not named Nick Saban...

Anyone who feels a personal attachment, to a college football program, needs to prioritize their thoughts.

it's funny because every posts he makes immediately has 1 upvote. Any negative post you response immediately has 1 downvote. He's a clown

why are you making posts? You're supposed to send us evidence of me not knowing how the playoffs worked in 2017 like you claimed, remember? Or did you just make that up?

You don’t even realize that this is a good thing for uga as young Mark Richt was a very good coach.

Their 14 five stars really helped them against Texas' 2.

Ok, so let’s see the 2018 gap compared to the 2019 gap.

Funny how much importance you have placed on those rather meaningless bowl games rather than much more important games vs the Division

Pretty sure you know the answer to that.

Good news is that he’s had the best skill collection of talent around him since Tebow’s last UF team, and QBs typically show dramatic improvement from year to year under Mullen.
