Schools "cheat" in almost every sport. surprisingly boosters give money in almost every sport as well. NCAA's guidelines dont allow for much, so if you fall outside, it can be an easy violation. Things like free dinners, room and board, tickets to football, etc... These sports arent watched as much, so it happens quite a bit. Usually when they do get caught, its numerous violations
I knew a guy who ran cross country at an SEC school who routinely got $100-1000 handshakes at meets and events
