:pimp: Hmmm... Pretty impressive potential.... we'll take em, send em over
We already have a 21 ACT score wrapped up and waiting on em!

If you found an Ole Miss fan that doesn't stand with Freeze, I would be shocked.

I don't see them on the pre season all sec and all America teams. Ridley, Foster, Stewart, and Dieter are better than any receiver you have on your roster.
Again, your fear is palpable. Just stop it already.

He isn't better than Eason. If he was then he would be starting over a crack head. Also in a couple of years he will be throwing to your walk ons because you won't have any scholarship receivers.
More fear.

I honestly fear Bo Wallace more.
The obvious point is: YOU FEAR... period. You need to just stop because you are truly embarrassing your fellow Bama brethren who don't lay awake at night hoping they don't pee their pants about the possibility of a third loss in a row. We've beat you two in a row BUT you won the Natty dude.... Relax, it's going to be OK. So quit embarrassing yourself with this type of scared nonsense.

Ole Miss really contacted Jeffrey Simmons and tried to get him if State kicked him off?
You are making the mistaken and huge leap in believing anything said by Mullenboys about Ole Miss.
It's like asking Wile-E-Coyote for an unbiased opinion about the Road Runner.

I don't know. But if either offered me money to pay a light bill, I'm choosing Oxford over Starkville.
Just how fast is your 40 time?
(Needs to be good b/c we're a little short on schollies these days)

Well how can you say " not even close" and " boring cow town" while taking Oxford out of the equation? They have pretty much the same shite. Both towns have college campuses, big tailgating scenes, trendy college bars, nice restaurants, fast food, city jails, small town airports, hotels, shops, retail, movie theaters, 3 or 4 major roads, state highways running through, with naught interstates. Let's you explain..
#99 on Best Small Towns in America
I would be speculating, but I would be floored if Starkville even made the Top 5000.
There are only two groups of people who say Starkville is even close to as nice a town as Oxford: (1) those who are lying or (2) those who have not actually visited Oxford in the last 10 to 20 years. That's it -- anyone who would say that would fall into one of those two categories.

Your kidding yourself if the NCAA isn't licking every nickel that went through Tunsil's hands the past few years to find out where it came from.
Speaking of being in denial, do you think that the NCAA didn't lick those nickels for the last 3 years that they've been stationed in Oxford. Did they decide to keep the shite tasting nickels hidden when they released the NOA? Maybe our bagmen paid the NCAA to not mention of any the times where we paid players to sign with Ole Miss. Maybe they were just wanting to wait until Tunsil turned pro so that they would then be unable to demand access to him to try and "lick those nickels".
Do you or MullenBoys give any thought to your posts before you hit send? You will have to wake up from your dreams soon, and it's gonna be a rough morning. It will go from this :ban: to this :wah: . "11-14 schollies over 4 years" coming from the NCAA soon, and then you can begin to make up your next, new conspiracy theory.
True question for real answer

As someone who has believed for many years that great players are getting paid in college football, can anyone explain something: if Tunsil (one of the best recruits in the country in 2013) was paid money (real money, big money) to come to Ole Miss, why has Lyndsey Miller not said something about it when he has spilled everything he has and literally hates Tunsil and Ole Miss at this point?
I'm just trying to figure this out in my mind. Any thoughts?

Correct. Too big now. There are still some very nice residential areas of BR, but overall it's very greatly degraded post Katrina. Streets are "Third World Bad" and it's very dirty/trashy/littered. ........
Maybe so, but that is one badass stadium experience!!!

What's going to be even more devastating than a post season ban is when they DO start backing recruiting these 4-5 star athletes and can't offer any Fun Money.
Even if we are buying players, why would we choose to stop paying that "fun money"? After living with us for 3 1/2 years, the NCAA wasn't able to find any evidence of us buying players so why would we stop exactly?

OH MY GOSH, what if other schools start having boosters who are going around giving out loaner cars for a couple of months and even coaches who might allow a player to crash at his house for a night.
What is this world coming to?
It will be absolute anarchy!

In keeping with their status, they were one of the last SEC schools to finally get to host Gameday.
Why so jelly?? Consistent with our 2013 recruiting class, we like to go straight from last to first!
ESPN Gameday producer says that Ole Miss was best gameday experience ever.
"This was the best on-campus experience I’ve been part of as Game Day producer,” Fitting said in an email to Sports Illustrated on Sunday night. “It wasn’t a show, it was an event, and it was because you have such a great natural character in The Grove. You have an incredible recipe – a picture perfect setting, with thousands upon thousands of people that all share an unmatched passion for their school, their team and their sport."

Honestly, it's surprising that every recruit doesn't want to come play here!

No reasonably sane person thinks the death penalty is on the table.
The text communication referencing the $200+ payments to Tunsil deals with proper payments. The text regarding a $300+ payment for Tunsil's mom's bills would not be proper, but from what I have been told, it never was paid out (at least not by Ole Miss staff).
That is the situation for any of you who would like to know, and the NCAA punishment should end up reasonably close to the self-imposed restrictions.
Obviously, if the information I have received is wrong and the texts were text communications by an Athletic Director about improper monies being funneled to our star player, then all bets are off and it'll get ugly.
But all reasonable people know that is simply not the situation. If you have any doubt, consider these points:
1) Freeze likes his 5 million dollar a year job. [fairly safe assumption]
2) Freeze stated unequivocally on national TV for the whole world to see that if he was aware of any evidence of his staff's involvement in paying money to players, he would fire them immediately. [this is a fact as it was stated on Finebaum's show yesterday]
3) If the AD was in fact facilitating improper payments, Freeze would have, and could have, had him fired immediately to help save his own $5-million-a-year job. [this is a fact further supported by Freeze's willingness to make the above comment on Finebaum yesterday]
4) The AD did not get fired. [fact]
SO, given all of that, we know unquestionably that one of these two statements is correct:
#1 -- The payments were NOT improper payments; OR
#2 -- Freeze decided that he no longer wanted to keep his $5-million-a-year dream job.
You can decide which of those two statements you think is more likely.
