Bama can actually run/pass for more than 1 yard per play, is this actually a real question?

Offense is overrated.

Alabama has the better loss. If Georgia played LSU like the Ags did, they would have two losses. Georgia a better loss than Johnny Football? Laughable I say. Laughable.

Aggie math- 2 losses are better than 1 loss.

I just read every GD page in this thread and the only thing I have learned is that some creepy guy named Rickdaddy lives in mirrors.

They didn't even win their division. If they would have lost to LSU but beaten Georgia...then guess what...they could prove they are better in SECCG. Too bad

Florida started the season ranked well below Bama and has looked really inept offensively against some bad teams. You don't get a lot of love in the polls when you block a punt at the last second to beat Louisiana Tech or whoever that was. This concept really seems to confuse some LSU fans.

That's rich coming from you.

And I wasn't trolling. 2007 LSU lost two games to two teams that finished the season unranked. The only reason LSU made it to the BCSCG was because of their preseason ranking. I was agreeing with the poster I quoted.

Why is this thread still going? Are there no TVs in certain sections of the SEC? Have we not watched both Florida and Alabama play the game of football?

A better question would be why do 59 college football coaches think that Alabama is better than Florida and rank them above the Gators? Maybe you are asking the wrong people dumbass, but I would guess that you will argue with coaches that do this for a living.

If Florida beats FSU, Gators will have more top 15 BCS wins than Bama, ND, UGa, & Oregon combined.

That's great and all, but nobody really knows who's better at this point.

It's the same bullshite as last year with this "eyeball test".

It shouldn't be about what people think; it should be about what the teams have done.

Right now, it seems clear that Florida has done more.

I could not agree more. The only place Alabama is ranked higher than Florida is in the human perception category, i.e. human polls. The computers have Florida ranked higher.

In all honesty, I love college football but these discussions are silly. Until the championship is decided on the field, college football will always be equal to gymnastics or synchronized swimming with its subjective analysis of who is best.

Bump.

Another week, another top 10 team Florida beats on the road.

You're helping the LSU fanbase achieve the title of the biggest collection of whining, sore losers in the history of CFB.

Update: Now both teams are 11-1, except:

- Florida is 4-1 against the top 15 with a margin of victory of 47.

- Alabama still only 1-1 against the top 15 with a margin of victory of -1.

So, for those that are curious, Alabama would have to beat Georgia by 25 points to achieve HALF of what Florida has accomplished this year, and to pull even with Florida in the "common opponents we beat but you lost to" category.

And please, please, PLEASE let someone make the argument that Alabama won their division and Florida didn't.

I thank the Lord everyday that there is still (no matter how small and dwindling it may be) a human element to our lives.

But yes, playoffs can't come soon enough. (And I'm not sure I'd call a semi-final a playoff).

The frick does this have to do with LSU?

Focus on the argument at hand.

I'm thrilled with our season, personally. Overcame adversity at every turn and finished with a great record in the best conference in the country.
