Unfortunately, yes, I do believe that aggy takes more pride in being in the SEC than in their actual program, if that makes sense.

I'm an LSU fan, and could never type that out myself, even in jest. I know some Auburn, UGA and Fla alumni, and they couldn't either. Bama fans probably agree too.
The goal is to win, yourselves. You beat Alabama (in this case) so that YOU can win, and "be the head of the conference".
And at face value, even the troll doesn't make sense. LSU beating Bama has LSU probably #2 in the rankings, behind Clemson. LSU-UGA would be a game for the playoff spot, and Bama would still be in huge contention for a 2nd spot over Michigan.
so, if anything, this 'hurt' the conference by Bama winning.
