Whether the play was a TD or not, the fact that it was a potential scoring play and certainly affected the outcome of the game and was in question means that play should have been stopped and the play reviewed

Completely agree.

And to twist the knife a little further, they didn't even hesitate to review the last play -- which clearly wasn't a TD.

Because Plumlee just went 7/7 marching down the field and had the Cal defense on its heels heading into the end zone.

No video evidence... Um...There was a girl standing at the goal line filming the 3rd down play with her phone when the receiver caught the ball in the endzone and was pushed back out. You can see this clearly on the highlights.

I think if you look under the name Zapruder in Oxford she can be reached.

The girl caught the whole thing on her phone with an angle that appeared less than ten yards from the play and on the goal line.

They were screwed because it was clearly a TD. At no point did the ball even leave the endzone

This argument is hurting the rest of your statement.

It's not "clearly" a TD. You can't point to one millisecond where the ball is definitely in the endzone.

Crying over a non-replay for a call you wouldn’t have had overturned simply because you wanted a free timeout is pitiful.

This^^^

If you have to have a free timeout to beat Cal, you don't deserve to beat Cal. Also, Ole Miss is garbage.

Ole' Miss got screwed over by PAC-12 officials, just so the PAC-12 can boost about beating a SEC team.

Watch the replay. If that field judge or side judge doesn't sprint in and take the ball from the line judge then Ole Miss doen't even get to run the last play. That ref was going to let that game be over.

Just a really bad look for the PAC12

Yes.

It was also stupid that Ole Miss had no clue as to what to do after that play.

This is a stupid statement. Something either should have been subject to replay review, regardless of if it’s week 4 Ole Miss-Cal or UA Clemson in the national championship, or it should not have been. Why does the teams playing matter insofar as the rules and the way College Football is played?

Were the replay officials from the SEC, or PAC 12?

Pac 12. That's why the Pac 12 put out the statement.

You missed the part where I said it required the logic that is common in most dogs. (Pausing the video, looking where his feet are, his waist, the angle of his body, the placement of the ball...how the ball does not in any way move backward, then back forward, as would have been required for the ball not to be in the endzone...because when he hits the ground, the ball is fully in the endzone, directly over the line.

Translation.

We should have reviewed it, but it doesn't matter. It wouldn't have been overruled or changed. Cal would have still won. Ole miss got beat fair and square and if ole miss wants to bitch, then bitch at that fat faced dumbass you have for a coach for not saving a time out

To the people that think it was in

1) you are wrong

2) can you post a picture or video proof (you can't. You are wrong)

People saying that even though the play clearly wasn't going to be overturned but should have been reviewed are baffling me.

No, the video guy made the exact right call, not reviewing a play that didn't need to be reviewed, because it was called right in the first place.

Teams shouldn't get a chance at an advantage for losing a review which is what Ole Miss would have had.
