Macon is actually reviving a bit from the 2000’s. Lots of big box distribution centers on I-75. Amazon, Sara Lee, Tractor Supply, Khumo tire. Then you have Warner Robins just a few miles south which is the largest state employer in Georgia with about 20k employees.

I created a thread about Georgia BBQ spots, along with an interactive map that could be updated by members of the board with locations and reviews

People move out of Athens to surrounding counties to get away from the panhandlers, poor school system, and trashy behavior.

Meanwhile, people are moving into Auburn for the school system and other amenities.

That picture is 12 years old and tailgating doesn't work like that on north campus. Any other misleading/retarded points to make?

Actually all of that is true -- and that's a picture of the oldest -- and prettiest -- part of your campus, North Campus. Maybe you've never been there?

Clarke Central High is the rated 245th in the state, down 13 points since the prior year, with 92% on free lunches. That's a big reason for people moving to Watkinsville and surrounding counties. Crime is another reason -- the crime they warn incoming freshmen about during orientation. If you haven't seen the panhandlers downtown, drive by The Grille and take a look sometime.

And that picture is 15 years old you dolt, just like your perception of Athens and campus. Thanks for confirming you visited once when you were a child and haven’t returned since.
