I don’t expect Coastal to even come close to LSU. They haven’t played all that talent this year.

LSU fans better hope their team doesn’t feel this way, because I guarantee you Coastal doesn’t.

LSU top to bottom has a definite talent advantage, but Coastal has done more than enough to show that they belong exactly where they are

Nope, not a shyte post.

Arkansas does have a good team, yes better than Auburn, IMO.
Again, that doesn’t make Arkansas “one of the best 2 teams” …. it just doesn’t.

In fact, everyone on this forum today is talking about how Arkansas lost the game in the dramatic 9th inning …. due to a myriad of gone wrongs.

But the truth is that Arkansas lost this game much earlier in the game when their pitchers couldn’t command the strike zone. If you put allow runners on in Omaha, it is going to hurt you … period.

14 strikeouts against 4 base on balls says otherwise but do go on. Pitching did not lose this game, and virtually everything you’ve said shows your lack of knowledge of the game as well as that of the teams involved. Arkansas was, and is, one of the top two all-around teams in the country. But, of course, you’re smarter than all of the scouts, coaches, and analysts that live and breath this game day in and day out.

Did you conveniently forget about the runner that reached on catchers interference, …. or the batter hit by pitch to start the 4th? Walks alone may be manageable, but with the other mistakes? Dunno.

What I do know was that Arkansas pitchers were struggling, and DVH knew it

We will get to see whether this is true or not. If LSU blows out Coastal, it would support that assertion.

Absolute worst case, we finished as one of the 4 best teams, but I think most would agree Louisville isn't better than Arkansas.

Frankly, it is irrelevant whether we are the 2nd or 4th best team. The only measuring stick is winning.

People need to remember that this is tournament baseball. Winning the tournament doesn't necessarily mean you were the best team, just that you performed the best in the tournament.

Of course, winning this tournament the goal everyone is chasing, so all these subjective arguments about ranking the best teams are kind of beside the point. But, I will say that I think its unfortunate that the ballpark where we determine the championship plays so differently from your typical ballpark where we play during the season.

SEC baseball is so much fun to watch.
The amount of pride that each fan base has for their teams is impressive.

Did you just call the baseball CWS the MCWS?

I thought only liberals, and espn guys that are forced to, used that moronic term.

Did you have A1 or Heinz57 with your crow after Coastal took your team out?

Neither … because I wasn’t on here running my pie hole about AU being all that and a bag of chips. I’m older and wiser …. wise enough to know talent when I see it.

I genuinely feel bad for arky after watching that debacle last night...they need to perform a ritual or call in some psychologist to get rid of that bad mojo that is as certain as the sun coming up. The two best teams played last night.
