As a Bama fan who has lived in Cincinnati twice, and Dayton once, I have to say.

frick Ohio.

Cincinnati hides their suck sometimes, the Civic Garden and Hauck Botanic Center was a nice park last time I was there in 2005. God's Bible School and College has a beautiful campus with a great view, but its full of weird hyper conservative Christians who make women have their hair in buns and wear ankle length skirts. The museum of natural history used to be decent.

Also, Skyline and Goldstar aren't chili, they just called it that because its the closest thing Americans knew. Its a Greek/Macedonian dish called Saltsa Kima.

So again, frick OHIO. I won't give it a 4th chance to ruin my life. And no, Cincy fans, yalls shitty football team getting up for this 1 game and beating a highly mercurial Bama team will not ruin my life. Bama has overachieved, and is playing with house money already. You're going to lose by 28, and ruin it for the rest of the G5.

frick OHIO.

edit: I've lived in 7 states, and spent extensive time in 2 others with family, Ohio is by far my least favorite. fricking trashcan of a state. AL, PA, OH, WA, SC, VA, TN, OK, ND.

I rather like the Bryan, OH area. Been to Ingersoll Rand there a couple of times for training.

IR in Davidson NC right down the street from me.

Cincinnati host the largest Octoberfest in the world outside of Germany. And Jungle Jim's is a must stop.

I just visited Ohio for the first time right before Thanksgiving. Southeast Ohio to start. Might as well have been in West Virginia, Kentucky or Tennessee. Very similar vibe. Not all that bad. South Carolina is far superior though.

if the Charleston area wasn't so congested, I'd move back yesterday. Loved living in Summerville. But the traffic is an absolute nightmare now.

Our parent company is in Cleveland. Everyone knows Cleveland is a shithole but you're right, Cincy is as much a shithole as Cleveland but just doesn't get the recognition for it.

No, they choose to do that. Outside of possibly having to find a new church, nothing would happen to any of them if they chose not to.

they would also be kicked out of school.

Don't tell me about Bible methodist, Bible missionary, and other various denominations within the IHC. I am WELL aware of the beliefs within hyper conservative holiness.

This is a great rant for 3 am. I admire the passion. Many of us post things we only kinda half mean, but this is clearly coming from the heart. Well done.

King's Island is cool, or was cool the last time I went around 1989. The Beast is a great coaster.

That's about all I can say good about Cincy. My uncle lived there in the 80's and we went there nearly every summer. Reds games were cool I guess, but Riverfront was a dump.

Ohio people love them some South Carolina. My mom is from 30 miles outside of Cleveland.

Also, obligatory:

They love the SC and NC beaches, that's for sure. My dad is from Akron, and his family does a family trip/reunion every few years to the Outer Banks. They used to go to Myrtle Beach. Last time I went to one was there. Bunch of pasty white midwestern fats* in Ohio State shirts.

*Tall skinny people actually runs in my dad's family. Fats just sounded better.
