Thats a different argument and I agree, I just don't think the narrative will be that we couldn't get someone else for the job and thats the only reason hes staying.

Whether he is a legit lame duck or just "on thin ice" in a hypothetical second year, I don't think it makes much of a difference in recruiting either way and it'll be bad regardless.

Its probably all irrelevant anyway because I think hes gone by Friday at the latest, but we will see.

One can readily appreciate the desire to live in Auburn (the Gateway to Opelika). After getting fired and paid millions as hush money you have a nostalgic love of the place plus you dont want to get too far away in case the check bounces

Bob Broadway is another big money athletics donor. He and his wife have given/pledged over 3 million outright, and they named the club seating in the old pressbox area after him. I think at one time I heard he had given money directly to that project as well, but I'm not sure

Dang, I know him. Didn't know he gave that much money to Auburn. The company I used to work for worked on some of his projects. Seems like a good guy. I enjoyed it when I got to go to his office. There was a lot of talent in there, if you know what I mean.

Jesus my man, do you not believe BK is a step up from both Miles and O in regards to coaching football?

BTW, we appreciate your continued support of LSU.

Yet here you are in 2022 watching your PTB dig a hole for the Head Spud of the Potato Posse. Some folks are doomed to repeat history no matter how painful.

Kirby can probably ride even just 1 natty to retire at UGA unless he just completely packs it in for a several years, Some NFL team might be stupid and hire him eventually.

Dooley did. In fact, anyone associated with 1980 pretty well had a job at UGA for as long as Dooley was there.

That's why UGA had four ticket managers.

Damon cut loose a lot of dead wood when he took over.

The weird thing about is all the former coaches come back and live it Auburn. Gus being an exception at the moment, but he’s coaching elsewhere.

He still has the Lakehouse at Lake Martin and plans to keep it from what I’ve heard.

If it is, it aint by much. Everyone knew Orgeron was awful, which was why you were mocked so heavily for the hire.

The thing is BK has a decade of proving he cant win big games too.

A university overflowing with genuine, salt-of-the-earth people (Auburn Family), overrun by a select few big on cash and short on principle (Auburn Way).

The above statement is bullshite. Brian Harsin has alienated everyone he has come in contact with. He is a cancer. You people are quick to defend a man that you do not know.

Nah, no one cares about him. We're just enjoying the barn tradition of imploding every couple of years.

Auburn is a great place. Maybe the best city in Alabama and one of the best in the country. But that doesn’t excuse the shitty boosters that meddle and make things worse. There is a reason we haven’t been consistent since Pat Dye was a coach.
