outside of clark and stoops cant say anyone on that list would be enticing. Kevin Steele? ummm no.... I like what hes done with our D but having him as Hc would be John L. Smith "bad"

I'm not sure this is possible. John L was a walking meltdown. Slapping himself in the face after Michigan State blew a huge lead at home vs ND was the most memorable one to me.

Kiffin - why the Fook not?

Y’all want a change for the sake of change?

Go get Joey Freshwater.

Dude would recruit like a madman and it would not make Nick happy.

So i say, why the fook not Kiff?

It's not too desirable of a job. What coach wants to go to place to get mauled by LSU, UGA, and Bama every year? Gus is the best the Barn can get.

#1 on everyone's list should be PJ Fleck.

When these AU fans run off Gus, and AU finds itself in a UT situation, they will be nowhere to be found.

Why do yall hate Gus so much? Y’all are constantly a top 10-15 team and every team in the SEC not named Bama (and LSU but only if you count this year) would trade their last ~5 seasons for Auburn’s.

What am I missing?

Steve Spurrier? That site can’t be serious. Loses all credibility because of those names. Any AU fans that still want Muschamp or Petrino need to be excommunicated from the fambly.

I agree but I think he stays in the Midwest and ends up taking one of the big, big jobs up there. One of Notre Dame, Michigan, and Penn State seems like his next destination if he doesn't want to stick around Minnesota.

Stop this, ya'll have a pedigreed HC.

The D has been good under Steele, just have to let Nix mature.

Aubie is solid, careful what you wish for..it can get worse.

Clark or Kiffin could be fun.

It's basically the same thing Orgeron does. Fleck's teams are well coached.

It comes down to:
1. Our record under Gus against Bama, LSU and UGA
2. For an offensive genius, our offense has sputtered most years under Gus. This year we would be undefeated if our offense had been even mediocre against UF and LSU. A lot of fans were through with Gus after the TN game last year
3. It’s always the same excuses.

I was big on Herman, Mullen, and Fleck, when LSU hired O.

O, I wanted badly in 2015 for DL and Recruiting, and for his p!ss and vinegar to a stale Miles staff. But, admittedly didn't want for HC.

He's doing an incredible Dabo-esque GM job..and not hardheaded like Les was.

I can definitely see Fleck at Michigan. Big Blue is getting sick of Harbaugh. I don't think he lasts much longer.

First, that's not an article.

Second, to the people who say "Gus constantly has you top 10-15!" - not really.

In six seasons, we've finished:

Unranked (2x)
20th-25th (2x)
Top 10 (2x)

And to be honest, we were not even close to a top 10 team at the end of 2017 (which is arguably a credit to Gus that he gets us in NY6 games and decently ranked even when we're shitty).
