If you are looking for curses, then look no further than the city of Atlanta.

I dont blame Blank for this. Can you imagine what we would be left with without Blanks money? A falling apart GA Dome with a financial burden of maintaining the Dome 100% at the feet of the city of Atlanta (think of the Atlanta infrastructure and then think of the Done).

Blank knows better than anyone the operative cost of the MBS. I trust his judgment on that more than high school parents.

How about this simple concept:

If you're a Billionaire owner how about you pay for your own property, plant, and equipment to run your business and not rely on the taxpayers' welfare to enrich yourselves

I find it amazing that other municipalities can keep Stadiums for 40-50 years but here in the metro ATL we "need" to tear down Stadiums every 20 years

Taxpayers don't share in the Profits so Taxpayers shouldn't help subsidize his PPE expenditures

Azzhole Blank got a windfall from the Taxpayers so he should've paid it forward and allowed the GHSA to use the MB Stadium at an extremely discounted rate to reward HS FB Players in the State and give them a dream come true to play in an NFL Facility if they make it to a State Title Game

I wonder would you love this Taxpayer Welfare System if Oprah or Tyler Perry owned an NFL Team in ATL

They did play at GSU a year or two ago.

I think that coincided with MBS not being ready and the Dome already being stripped.

Then stop doing it, dumbass. It's not Blank's fault that you idiots gave him hundreds of millions.

Every politician on both sides of the aisle does it and the majority keeps reelecting them

Believe me when I say I did my part at the ballot box

Amazing that a relatively new GA Dome wasn't built well enough to keep from crumbling in the fine city of Atlanta when that "trash heap" known as the Superdome that was built in the 1970s still stands proudly in that "cess pool" known as New Orleans.

Yeah, Georgia folks. Keep on bad mouthing Louisiana. Wonder how long it will be before you demand Mercedes Benz Stadium be replaced by yet another stadium because it is crumbling as well?

reportedly the cost increased from $300K to $600K when the new Stadium opened up
Well the new place is twice as nice.

Which ain’t saying much. It’s a gargantuan indoor space with shitty acoustics and weird angles. The public spaces in the lower levels are nice enough and there are some nice places to eat. Basically Ponce City Market or Krog Street shoved into a weird indoor space.

Also they never seem to open the roof. What was the point of that massive expense? Just to say that you can I suppose.

I've been to several games when the roof was open.
