Arkansas had the highest winning percentage of all basketball programs from 1978 to 1995.

However the Nolan firing put Arkansas on a downward spiral that they couldn't recover until recently.

If Bama isnt in the Final 4 this year they never will be. And when they are out by the sweet 16 and the Hogs are carrying the banner for the league for the 3rd straight year I will resuscitate this thread.

Does make you wonder why Muss can't win the little ole SEC? Oh well, there's always track and field.

SEC Regular Season Championships: 4 (1992, 1993, 1994, 1995)

You went 10-6 in 1993. Vanderbilt went 14-2. You finished 1st in the West but you didn't win the SEC Title, Vanderbilt did.

Same in 1995. You went 12-4. Kentucky went 14-2 and won the SEC Title.

Because Arkansas uses the regular season as practice and get better until the NCAA tournament.

Ok so you made me do it... are y'all really living off your early 90's success this long lol.. i used to take your word for it but since you pigs like to troll Bama Bball threads.. I had to do some research.

you ain't did nothing since '94 and won an SEC tourney in 2000. 23 years of SEC ineptitude.

2 SEC championships and 1 SEC Tourney championship since you've been here puts you on the level of GaTech in SEC bball history.. but somehow you've convinced yourselves you're #2 all time in the SEC.. #2?!!!

Man y'all waller in you're own crap like the pigs you are I guess.. good luck with that. LMAO Bama has a true SEC history to brag about yet we don't but you guys take the cake for acting like a real program.. you really just had a couple of good teams that played a style the conference wasn't used to. once we caught on to it.. you've basically been a below avg program.. have fun with that.

rant/

Holy hell my man. This is so laughable.

Alabama has ONE...let me say that again...ONE Elite 8 appearance and ZERO...let me say that again...ZERO Final Four apperances.

Arkansas has:

11 Elite 8's
6 Final Fours
2 National Championship Game appearances
1 National Championship

Bama, once again, has ZERO Final Fours, ONE Elite Eight.

Pretty obvious he was referring to the National title game.

Pretty silly to respond to a specific conversation about a statement saying "Arkansas won the SEC in 1995" with a response about something entirely different.

Man, we didn't win the SEC Regular Season Championship
in '93 or '95. We won the SEC West.

You are correct in that Arkansas wasn't reg season SEC Champs in '93 or '95. I'm not arguing that.

But it's obvious that dchog meant "who went to the 'national' title game" because of all the basketball games in a season, that's the one that matters most if you win it. We didn't but we were there.
