Yes. He is a much better DC than he is as the head coach. That is not a knock. Not everyone is cut out to be the HC at P5 program.
I think Odom is happy at Arkansas and he can do well here, given some time to recruit and develop talent. He was pretty well handed an empty bucket and told to put out a dumpster fire.
Is LSU a tempting job? Well yeah. It is LSU. If he left I wouldn't blame him but I might be worried that he is hitching his star to someone that might be in a serious decline.

Mike Anderson did a great job and gave us some of the best moments since Nolan Richardson. The game passed him up but he was the right coach at that time.

Odom and Pittman are best friends. They go on daily walks together. He’s not leaving here to go be a DC anywhere. He’ll leave for a HC job eventually though.
