I get the point. If the player is committed to A&M, I wouldn't want him around the other recruits while Arky is playing A&M. Logically, if the game goes A&M's way, the recruit is probably going to be recruiting his fellow recruits to A&M instead of Arkansas on Arkansas's dime. It's pretty shitty for the player to put this out there.

That WAS the agreement. It was the standard up until this fat prick decided to burn a huge bridge with recruits in TEXAS

If the player is committed to A&M I welcome him with open arms and tell him just to come visit and see what we have to offer and if I am any good at my job and you are a great program you can get the kid to flip. Telling him he has to decommit before he can visit is a bitch move

The narcissism on display in the recruiting process is generally off-putting.
Show me a kid who is humble and grateful and I'm instantly a fan. There are fewer and fewer of those every year.
