What a puss move, why not play a DH Saturday then a game on Sunday? What's wrong with that?

If you really care about it, this mostly likely was done for Cal. Flying a team halfway across the country to sit in a hotel for a few days wouldn't be fun or prudent or good for their program.
I doubt we would have done the same for a program within driving distance like OU.

do you keep up with Arkys schedule? because we play y'all in Arkansas this year. Im no geography expert but im pretty sure Arkansas is outside the state of Louisiana
we also travel to Alabama, Missippi, Georgia, and South Carolina. just and FYI so you don't look stupid in the future

Perhaps, had they not been "a'feared of competition", Arky should have manned up, flew out to California and played in the 70 degree weather like Kansas State decided to do once Arky backed out.

The Cal series was a return trip from us going to Berkeley . We play out west a few times most years.

I call bullshite on this.
They replaced Cal with Eastern Illinois. You don't think it won't cost Eastern Illinois money especially at this late notice. It might be a little less than Cal's expenses but it will still be expensive considering Eastern Illinois' budget to Cal's budget.
Arkansas found a convenient excuse to not face a P5 team because Van Horn knows Arky is not very good this year. He wants to pad the record as much as possible even at the expense of reducing the strength of schedule. You won't get to the regionals with a losing record.

Eastern Illinois was supposed to play Central Arkansas last weekend but it got canceled so it was probably the easiest fit out there.
It's not like Cal was supposed to be any good anyways, they had a losing record last year.
