yes we do. We don't send the whole band though. The pick by seniority from a volunteer list.

this I imagine if they caged the dog like tusk it wouldn't be a problem.
I've never seen a visiting band march at halftime in a college game. Most of the time they won't take the full band. This sounds like aggie should have called ahead and asked if they were going to be able to march this isn't highschool where everyone gets to march at every game.

I think we should let them play, but only if they ONLY play the Galaga theme song and do about three minutes of re-enactment to both the east and west sides.
That would be awesome.
BTW, I heard Mike Sherman is going to be recognized at halftime then he is going to leave the stadium. Didn't he pretty much do that for you guys for all of 2010 and 2011?

It's in reveille's best interest. Arky fans like to have sex with animals.

I try to stay away from Tusk because he caused my last bannage

But......I don't think the poop is the main reason for caging Tusk....he can legitimately hurt people. Kind of like Mike I don't think his excrement is the reason he is in a cage....I think it is because he would eat people if given the chance.

quote:You apparently, have never been to a college football game outside of Arkansas. I've never seen a college band doing a show that actually lasted 15 minutes--not sure I've even seen a 12 minute show. Maybe if you count standing around while some presentation is going on, but 15 minutes of marching? Never seen it. I'm guess you tell your wife its 12-15 and she believes that, too.
Considering the Arkansas band will likely take up about 12-15 minutes of that time

Exactly. Opposing bands are a curiosity for the home crowd--it's a cool experience to share the sound of your university on the road. The home crowd already knows what their band is all about.
Agreed. And if the visiting band removes even so much as 10 seconds of piped in music in any stadium, it is worth it.

Bama band came in full force to A&M a few weeks ago. You guys brought everybody. Band, flag team, twirlers, etc... Seemed like everyone enjoyed it.
Ags had our band in Tuscaloosa last year. Street was lined during the march in by Ags and Bama fans. Seemed like everyone enjoyed it also.
Nice change of pace for most schools. Most.

After the band performs and we do the traditional Go Hogs spell out, it's probably closer to 17-20 minutes.
