I like Tubs but does he have the energy left to rebuild a program? If he does...then next year is going to be the move cause he aint getting any younger. Its hard azz work to rebuild a program that has been losing and is in an area where out of state recruiting is completely necessary.

Arkansas isn't as bad as people are being led to believe due to Paul Petrino's hands being on the offense and John L. pacing the side lines.

The team is quite young, it isn't like we lose every piece of talent on both sides of the ball after this season. There will be less of a drop off seen after this season than was seen after McFadden because Nutt quit recruiting to sustain a complete team 4 years prior...

I liked him as well, but not sure on him rebuilding a program, I am not so sure. He might be a good fit for arky, as was Petrino and he can coach up lesser players.

When we hired Sherman, I wish we have been able to get Tubbs from Auburn.

He is a good coach and would leave Tech in an instant to go to Arky. He would be a solid hire.

Perhaps it was unclear by my wording, but he is tied for the most SECCG victories in school history. Sorry fellas, c'est vrai.

It is crazy to see all the auburn fans in here hating on Tubbs. (Not talking about you specifically). The man had one of the best records against Bama. While he didn't win the SEC year after year, he kept Auburn competitive and arguably should of had a NC.

your wording was in response to SECC as opposed to SECCG.

Can't recruit.

Puts mountains of players in the NFL.

He does have a winning record against Saban including when Saban had LSU rolling.

I think it would be a good hire and for the sake of my program hope you go in a different direction. It's boring to watch from time to time but he coaches winning football and doesn't need a roster full of 4 and 5 star talent to be succesful.

Thanks for explaining what I already said was unclear. The entire rest of the arguments revolved around things like "division titles" and "championship game appearances." Both of which are noteworthy for their connection to the SECCG.

Let's compare sabans NFL players in his short time at bama to tubs 10 years at auburn.

Saban is at the superior program.

Saban never beat Tubbs in JHS @ Pat Dye Field @ Cam Newton Learning Annex.

I think he is from Arkansas too right? Arkansas could do a lot worse in my opinion.

Tubbs is doing a fine job a TT; they actually have a tough defense now.

Just off the top of my head, he put out two huge defensive players in the NFL in Karlos Dansby and Carlos Rogers.

Oh so Alabama the program recruited all those nfl talents and not Saban? If that's the case then why did bama suck so bad prior to Saban
