This was the best coaching job by an LSU coach since Saban's 2001 SEC season. LSU was garbage, but Ogeron managed a 3rd place finish in the West with a team that was really 5th best in the West.
They were trash on both lines of scrimmage. Zero play makers at WR or RB, and a QB that went a whole month without a touchdown.

If it helps any rumor has it Chad spent quite a bit of time talking to the Clemson coaching staff before the championship game. So they did what we did against Alabama... only with much better players on both sides of the ball.
Its why Saban was talking about "copycat" stuff from what I understand.
