The turnaround is explained that simply. Sam Pittman, contrary to how he appears in public, is an excellent motivator of men. That's the difference between last year and this year in a nutshell. It isn't that Arkansas has no talent. It's that Arkansas finally has some coaches people want to go fight for.
Chizik said this on the radio this past week, so no sauce (BoarEd's word is as good as gospel anyways so don't fricking doubt it.)
A&M, you're on the clock. Our boys are coming to whip your arse this year, not just try and stay competitive.

Transitive analysis? Come on, man. That's weak sauce. Barry Odom has had two weeks to prepare for your offense. Look at what he did to Ole Miss with only one week preparation. He held them to half their point total average.

Even if you love playing football it can get hard to get motivated when you've lost 18 games in a row and hate the coaching staff you're playing for. Constant failure will lessen the passion about anything.
