I always thought the guy was a good OC/QB coach. His offense set multiple Alabama passing and offensive records.

He wasn’t OC at Alabama, just QB coach. Enos was only at Alabama in 2018, and Mike Locksley was the OC that year.

What did he like about Arkansas?

Also, do kickers normally commit this early?

Dan Enos is a prick who is only looking out for himself. So happy for him today.

This couldn’t be further from the truth.

Woah your son is who committed yesterday? Sorry for the loss but very cool to know we’ve now got an inside into the program on here.

Coach Fountain. They put the backup kicker into the pros last year and Cam is the best kicker in college this year. Him and Cam have very similar bodies, they put weight on him and made him very successful.

No. He’s held 2 SEC offers since the summer, and we went to visits there and the other interested program (Florida) as well…number 1 kid always picks first, it’s just best for everyone if you get off the board.

There are no guarantees, but he chose the best offer to him.

Absolutely. He’s got a cool little sports car and he can’t wait to hit the roads up around here.

Not adapting his play calling to the team we have was his downfall

Not a bad play caller if he has a decent O line, a decent pocket passer QB, and a good running back.
He didn't have the first two, so he was doomed from the start.
The coup de gras though is not being able to patch something together from what he did have.
Guyton is a good WR coach, but he's not going to be able to produce a marked improvement in two weeks either. In fact, it could get worse before it gets better.

Very cool! Coach Fountain has been absolutely crushing it with our kickers so I can see why he’d be excited.

Except it's the exact opposite that's true. He's a pro-set, guy. We heard all spring about KJ was adapting to going under center. But he realized the softies he had up front couldn't do it, so he stayed with the shotgun/read option that Briles ran. I just don't think anyone realized just how soft that line was actually going to be. Enos is getting fired and never got to run his offense.

Yea, after some thought, I think you’re right. My statement was more of a lazy analysis.

Idk how he got hired to a SEC OC role to begin with. What about his previous offenses said this would be a good idea?

Well we were kinda unique in that he had already coached here before, and in 2015 he turned the offense around and it was one of the best in the country in the second half of the season. 2016 and 2017 weren't amazing but it was blamed on the OL at the time and he did great things with the Allen brothers.

I think part of it might be that his offense just works better with under-center formations and he never fully adapted.
