I think we play just like we did against WVU, allow the underneath stuff and avoid the big play, which Arky lives on...I think they get one, and it will be a close game, but LSU pulls away late

31-17 LSU

So many scenarios to play out it's hard to tell until after next week what even is shaping up.

I am still not sold on our Oline, and Wilson seems to be struggling a bit on the deep ball. Without the deep threat, I think LSU will very very difficult to score on.

I also think we will struggle to stop the power run game of LSU. So we will have to sell-out to stop the run and take chances with our D.

If we don't turn over the ball, we have a chance. We also will need a big play on special teams most likely.

So, I see either : a) LSU by 10-14 or,
b) Arkansas in a squeaker.

I'd say 70-80% choice "a" above

If Wilson doesn't get good protection it will be a long day for the Hogs. If he does, I think they will put up good yardage but won't score as many points as they need. LSU will probably run for about 200 and beat the Arky D into submission in the 4th quarter, much like the Razorbacks did to LSU last year.

LSU 38
Arky- 27

Honest thoughts.

Tough game. Arkansas' offense matches up better against LSU's defense than any other team in the SEC which gives us a chance.

Our ability to hit big plays also gives us a shot.

LSU is deservingly the #1 team in the nation. But history shows that this is usually a very competitive game and anyone can win it.

Overall LSU is the better team, but with Adams, Wright, Hamilton, Wilson, and Johnson we have a shot at making some plays and pulling the upset.

Don't really know where to put this gif, but this thread seems like a good enough place.

It is pretty obscene how many great receivers Arkansas has. What happened to Childs? I haven't really watched the Hogs this year except against Bama and Vandy

They will need to exploit our linebackers to have a chance to win the game.

Beating us with solely their wide receivers on our secondary isn't going to happen.

Claiborne--no
Reid--no

Mathieu vs Adams, Wright, or Hamilton--I like our chances.

Petrino is very good at isolating Wrs on linebackers.

Also Chris Grag at TE could cause some matchup problems.

I think lsu plays a lot of nickel to get our crap linebackers off the field, but that is def our weakness. Wku was the first team to actually utilize it. Bama did some a la no one guarding Trent in pass plays.

LSU will have to play a lot of nickel against Arkansas.

Our linebackers are really bad in coverage. They'll be receivers coming out of the backfield that are our linebackers responsibility that are 10 yards clear of any defenders. And that's on a regular basis.

They are really good against the run, but Arkansas is pretty one dimensional, so we should be able to get away with playing a ton of nickel.

He has a game plan for Miles and LSU and the plays will be scripted before we even hit the field.

Honestly, LSU has more talent and has played in a lot more big games. The game is in Baton Rouge. I respect Arkansas as an opponent as they are a very good, especially on Offense. I see a game a final score virtually identical to the West Virginia game. The only wild card is turnovers. I hope J. Lee gets at least 75% of the snaps.

LSU should be able to eat up huge amounts of time running the ball and keep our offense off the field. 24-14 lsu IMO.
