It seems most Hog fans Hate on Houston on the rant. I think Houston was PASSIONATE and bled RED
and over-achieved on many occasions. His time simply ran its course at Arkansas as he became too predictable as his own OC. He will do OK at Ole Miss for awhile then recruiting will diminish due to him never developing players for the next level. Im attempting to give him PROPS here coming from a HOG FOUNDATION member. Thanks Houston for some exciting years/games... Good luck to the Rebels this season

I feel like that compliment was more of a stab at Ole Miss/Nutt. So Arkansas fans should be laughing and agreeing.

not intended as a stab at all. When we contend for titles and knock off teams we shouldnt in a state with less than 2,000,000 STATEWIDE its proof that a guy has some MOJO! I totally agreed his time here was over but HELL when people say the HOGS dont belong and we make people strap it up and get ready... it speaks volumes regarding where the programs heading in its Third decade in the SEC

not a stab - not an opinion - its simply not his strength. You will understand in 6-8 years.

I think it's more of a stab at Nutt and a warning to Ole Miss... I understand what he's saying, but he's got a strange way of doing it.

DAMN! really just trying to give your present coach some PRAISE for some of the Good things.

The ONLY reason I bring this up today is the LOCAL 5 hours of SPORTSRAP today was filled with NUTT bashers saying its already begun at ole miss

QB sees the writing on the wall and transfers leaving rebs with nobody and juco nobody! Houston was a decent middle of the pack coach for a middle of the pack school at Arkansas --- He will continue to be Middle of the pack for your middle of the pack school. This is just how it is.......

He is a two time SEC coach of the year, those are hard to get, he's always picked last, but he got 'em. When you look at a Houston Nutt, Little Rock, Arkansas, you gotta remember football is in the blood, two sport star, lots of heart, Bear Bryant wanted him to play QB at Alabama, drop back passer. He chose Arkansas, but let go of the rope and went to Okie State after two years, just like pappy went there after playing for Adolf at Kentucky. SWC, two chinstrap league, Texas, big 8, one.

Thanks trinco! And while you arkansas fans tend to be missing most of your teeth, the one or two that you do have aren't completely crooked. See we can complement each other and get along
