Who doesn’t love geography?
The highest point in Texas is 6,000 feet higher than the largest hill in Arkansas (Signal Hill)
In fact Texas has over 70 individual mountain peaks taller than the highest hill in Arkansas
Hill (Harry Rex for reference)

Ozarks are nice, not an ashtray dotted with california style ranch homes like texas hill country.

What matters with "mountains" is prominence--how high the peak of the mountain uplifts from the surrounding terrain.
By your definition, half of Kansas is on one big mountain, because the elevation is higher than much of east Tennessee.
In fact, the prominence of Mt. Magazine in Arkansas is comparable to anything in far SW Texas, where most Texans have probably never even traveled to.
El Paso and its mountains are like 700 miles from College Station. That's probably why so many people from E. Texas drive up to Arkansas to see mountains, because its closer.

I don’t think that Arkansas or Texas have mountains as large as any you’d find in the Appalachian States

You know what else Arkansas doesn't have?
A border being overrun by illegal aliens and Californians quickly taking over our biggest cities
