Cotton is the better venue and the player gift packs are first class.

Better overall trip too. Having been to each recently.....LSU fanbase defeinitely prefers COTON.

Better venue, better date, solo national stage.....

Better for your program IMHO.

Good Luck Arky.

All of the above plus if Jerry has any say he will pull for yall to be there.

Good recruiting tool for the Texas recruits also.

If you guys go to the Cotton Bowl I'll have four tickets on the SEC side. We bought tickets for the 2005 game and have just renewed them every year.

We'll sell them for face value.

We changed sections last year & I don't remember the section but I'll look it up and bring the info back when we know who'll need them.

I"d rather go to the Cotton. We usually play better there, and it'd be easier for our fans to get to the Cotton.

For me personally, it's closer for me to go to the CapOne/Citrus, and I would like to play a Big 10 team and beat them, but eh well.

Still, I'm not disappointed with the season. We beat the teams we should have beaten, and lost to the teams we should have lost to. I'm proud of our team.

All of this. Im not going to the Cap one Citrus Bowl ever again after last time. It's a joke of a bowl for the high regard it receives.

Has the cliche "toilet bowl" joke been made?

If not

Cotton is the 6th biggest bowl after all the bcs games.

The arena pushes it well past the cap one bowl.

The Cotton also has the more prestigious history, formerly hosting some solid SWC Champs.

I think they add it to the BCS next time the vote on this stuff, giving 5 BCS bowls, then we go to plus one at that point after the 5 BCS games commence. Book it

This. I'm glad to see that it's regained some of its prestige. The Jerry Dome is a first class venue. Also, having some family and friends in the Metroplex adds a nice personal touch for me.

I think you are fine against any of the possible opponents. Cotton is the best bowl in my view.

Good luck to the Hogs in the bowl game. I'm in LR for a family wedding in two weeks. Love that town and I'm looking forward to the celebration!
