Yep. He wanted Brad as an assistant, UK said no. Then he lost Antigua to Illinpis, and brought back Payne and you get non stop Cal ball.

I wasn’t sold on Pope at UK, but watching them move the ball and play good basketball on the offensive end is such a contrast to what they did the past few years.
