Ark band sure likes to play "Neck"

As an LSU fan, I liked hearing the Arky band play Neck a couple times at yesterday's game. Wonder where they learned it from?
Didn't hear them play it last year. Now, your student section needs to learn the words, "suck that piggie dick!"

The only original idea Arkansas ever had in the SEC was having their best coach ever sue the school for racism.
However, they can relax, no other real SEC program will ever copy that move.

I know quite well where it originated. I'm not claiming LSU owns it but it sure looks great on CBS or ESPN when all Tiger Stadium is bouncing to Neck.

Also, I've heard several other SEC teams play it over the last couple seasons. OM, AU, and I'm sure several others that I'm forgetting. It's catchy, but gets pretty old IMO ...

Maybe because CBS and ESPN like to go to/come out commercial with those wide shots of Tiger Stadium dancing to Neck.
Lots of exposure right there and might be the reason you think it gets pretty old.

This is a strange thread. It's a song played by numerous bands. It seems to me like you're putting down Arkansas for doing the exact same thing lsu did.
Arky has the same rights to the song, and is no more unoriginal in its usage than lsu

No, it's during LSU games when CBS/ESPN are going to and out of commercial on the game broadcast.
Not grouchy at all. I watched a good game yesterday and didn't have a dog in the fight. I just thought it weird that Arky would play Neck.
