crimson word from the parade grounds is when haas showed up someone hit him with a water balloon and haas was taken off in a police cruiser.

I support this students rights to freedom of speech. I also support the school pulling his taxpayer subsidies for him to attend school there. He needs to learn that actions have consequences.

We have come a long long way since Vietnam. Back then the hippies would be out in force to burn flags and there would be very little if any opposition.

Good, I'm glad someone did something to him. With that kind of crowd someone had to step up and kick his arse. He is lucky it was a water balloon and not a brick

whitemeat while he had the right to burn the flag since it was his the whole reason he was doing this was stupid and wrong. his dirty hippie friend burned a flag last week but problem was it wasn't his friends flag to burn. haas doesn't seem to under stand this.

Multiple people saying that on the OT now. Say large crowds had gathered in front of the union and in front of the law school. Apparently when they saw the protestor, multiple water balloons started flying (apparently hitting some of the cops), so the protestor left with the cops for his safety.

imo LSU avoided a huge black eye today or has so far. if haas had burned the flag i think a hell of alot more violence breaks out on the grounds and it could have gotten bad.

I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying. I said he had the right to burn the flag, but the school has the right to pull his funding to attend school there. It's taxpayer money that has paid our way for us to have those rights, so taking said taxpayer money away from him would serve him right.

Kudos to the students for stepping up for their country.Had this been done in the old days we might not have lost in SE Asia.
