Better nfl player than college player. Far from the GOAT here

WTF?!? Dude was amazing at LSU. How can one watch the UNC game or the Mississippi State game with his two unbelievable INTs and have this take. Maybe not GOAT but damn close.

This is America, my friend! Innocent until proven guilty with the court of law taking years upon years to arrive at a verdict. Dude will probably be retired from the league before that case is settled.
She plays too much in my opinion.
Not saying you're wrong, in fact you make a compelling argument. Just saying I'm not surprised. I think the voters recognized that this LSU squad is a three lady squad thus likely seeing their stats as inflated because they are relied on more. All three were first-team. Rarely does one team have 3 first teamers. So...long worded response to state that the "team was deeper" thus less stats needed argument that was used for Boston is being used here. Morrow had a 15 point 20 rebound effort against Texas and a 28 point 12 point effort against Ole Miss, both losses. Voters love to look at those insane games as empty stats because they ended in L's.

There is no world where that is even remotely justifiable, no matter what sort abstract, nonsense reason people try to come up with.

League POY awards are given to a player from the champion of the league over a statistical leader year after year in leagues from HS to the pros. Not all the surprising to me. We don't blow a lead against Texas and then drop games against Bama and Ole Miss and maybe she wins the award. Bama and Ole Miss Morrow had insane numbers but it is overlooked because we lost. Winning matters.

This is a terrible look for BRPD.

It was on campus so wouldn't it be LSUPD! If so, team players looking out for the football team...respect!

re: In BK we Trust!

Happy with the portal on top of the recruiting class. However I’m not gonna let the class blind me from reality. Until Big Game Brian consistently starts winning the big important games that he is routinely losing, there is no trust, only hope. So maybe the thread should be “In BK we Hope!”

f we want to judge Brian Kelly and staff’s recruiting ability, I think we should start with the 2024 class and after.

:banghead:
The dude that was known for being an elite recruiter and has a well documented story of the lengths he went through to get Joe Burrow some crawfish and land him at LSU would have struggled in this era?

Currently sitting at 575 receptions 7987 yards and 59 TDs. Add an additional 180 yards and a TD rushing. Has 29 receptions for 350 yards and 2 TDs in the playoffs. I would say a 8000 yard 60 TD career is pretty damn good especially with the injury history.

lol. You people will do anything to try and defend that retarded rat eating piece of shite we had as a coach before,

You inbred, useless fricks just can’t stand to have someone who can actually color inside the lines of a coloring book leading LSU because he “ain’t one of us”.

Not gonna lie, you are the one that sounds like a retarded rat eating inbred. I would bet money you struggle with a coloring book.
Losing 5*s that never met expectations in the Coach O and Miles era..."What a waste of talent and severely underutilized talent."

Losing 5*s that never met expectations in the BK era, "Yay, addition by subtraction."

LSU with players playing out of position for the Texas bowl and low # of scholarship players for the Texas bowl in the Coach O era, "Look at this dumpster fire the coach has created."

LSU with little to no DBs and players likely playing out of position and low scholarship players for the Texas Bowl in the BK era, "Yay! Things are looking up!"

Make it make sense

:banghead:
Yet LSU is still not in a position to do this as I'm sure many schools are not. You simply can't build out of high school recruiting alone when you can't keep a recruiting class together. Look at our 2023 class! Can't build out of HS recruiting when the 2023 class happens. Need to work the portal, no way around it.

2 5 stars out of 5 so far haven't worked out for Kelly

What about Maason Smith and Sage Ryan? Shelton Sampson was considered a 5* by some sites and he is bouncing with another 5* in Womack. Quincy Wiggins was a 5* on a few sites. Now he hasn't done shite at Colorado so I won't criticize that one much. Add that to disaster that the 2023 class is turning into and I don't understand why he is escaping the same criticism Coach O and Miles would face.

2020 and 2021 were wasted classes due to Orgeron chasing tail and crazy kids (Arik Gilbert)

want BK to fail more than anything because they hate that we have a coach who doesn’t talk like he has a mouth full of marbles or the IQ of a corn cob.

This is what pisses me off more than anything about BK verse previous coaches. BK is glorified and not held to the same standard as previous coaches...why? I can guarantee Deshawn Womack and Shelton Sampson were blue chip prospects part of these percentages listed. For Les and Coach O the narrative if 5*s did work out was, "look at these bumbling bafoons wasting talent." Yet, 5* after 5* after 5* has either transferred or not worked out for BK and the narrative is, "well some 5*s just don't pan out. But at least BK doesn't have the IQ of a corn cob."

Don't worry, he will be a Tiger once the USC and Lincoln Riley ship sinks and there is a portal exodus. He is just a rental for them
quote:

Zalance Heard - Not very good year at Tenn
Dashawn Womack - Portal - was passed up on depth chart
Jalen Brown - 8 catches for 75 yards at FSU
Jaxon Howard - 8 tackles at Minnesota
Rickie Collins - likely headed to G5 school
Mac Markway - 3 catches 16 yards
Ryan Yaites - 12 tackles 0 int 1 Pass defended at Cal
Khai Prean - 0 catches at Tulane
Christian Brathwaite - 2 tackles at Houston
Jeremiah Hughes - 4 tackles at Mich St
Jackson McGohan - 1 catch 2 yards at Wisc
Michael Daugherty - Comm College

Yikes! We have some real solid talent evaluators on staff.
Why we should all stop following recruiting. Guys do not commit to schools for their college careers. They commit to schools that will rent them for a year or two and move on to chase money.
Weren't you the guy that kept sharing a link of this recruiting class in multiple threads for weeks saying "it is okay help is on the way, check out this recruiting class." That aged well.
