re: Flujaue is struggling

She is and has always been a good but inefficient player. She is a volume shooter that needs a lot of shots to get her points. She over dribbles and has bad turnovers. When we had Reese and Morrow a lot of her low % shooting performances were overlooked because they were getting offensive rebounds and put backs. Against lesser teams the inefficiency is also overlooked because it is made up for by other players and us winning. When playing a team like Texas and SC where the margin for error is so low, her inefficiency and low shooting percentage is amplified.

Why Texas twice?

This might have been mentioned in here and they will probably say it on the broadcast but I won't be able to watch. So, sorry for the ignorance but, why do we have to play Texas a second time while not having any other repeat SEC opponents? Thanks for the info!
Nuss's problem was that crook who used LSU to bank roll his golfing hobby and then used anger and frustration during the game to show face and pretend like he cared. Nuss is skyrocketing back up the draft boards. We will find out in time the disservice Brain Crook Kelly did for his career.

Wonder how he ended up in the Berry lol

I too am curious!
Without looking it up. I think one of the years Bama and Georgia played was in ATL.

I looked it up...2017/2018 Natty with Devonte Smith's walk off OT winner was indeed in Atlanta

I'm one of the three that laugh. :geauxtigers:
It is that bull shite out of conference schedule that has hurt us. If you play 15 games and your starters are sitting or playing at 50% the entire second half cuz you are up by 35+, it is bad preparation for 4th quarter minutes when the games matter. They aren’t prepared for second half basketball because they didn’t have to do it the entire out of conference schedule.
Shut up with that Texas bitch shite. We ain’t no bitches. Anyone, anytime, anyplace mentality

No truer words have been spoken. We need a QB! Whoever Lane wants...I want
Valuable experience for the coaches. Next time LSU makes the playoffs, all these coaches have playoff experience. This is the kind of experience that you can't replicate.
Once we lose Haulcy and Delane, sounds like we may need to snag a few DBs in the portal too.

He single handily ruined the program

This is such a played and horrible take. Do you think Lane Kiffin comes here and says all this stuff about, "This is the best job in the land." or "I took a look at the trophies and Hiesmans..." If 2019 and Joe Burrow doesn't happen?!? No freaking way! You can not have the 2019 season and single handily ruin the program. How can a program be ruined but still hire the most sought after coach. Retire this horrible idea that he ruined things. It makes no sense.
Bryce cost Michigan $12 million. He completed 8 passes today. I’ll pass on the guy that cost $1.5 million per completion in the biggest game of the year.

"The BK is our best coach since Saban," was the narrative around here for quite some time. Lane will definitely get his grace period.
I think the question is, why John Gruden? What has he done since Derrick Brooks and John Lynch that warrants that dude being our HC?

Sometimes I miss the Miles days then I think back to how horrendous we were at QB play with the exception of Flynn

I see someone already mentioned JaMarcus. What about Zach Mettenberger? At the time he was on a short list of LSU QBs to pass for 3,000 yards. Without researching, I am pretty sure it was the first time in LSU history to have a 3,000 yard passer and 2 1,000 yard WRs on the same team. Throw in Jeremy Hill and that team was the first with a 3,000 QB, 2 1,000 WRs, and a 1,000 yard RB. Everyone loves to say the end of the Miles ear was 11/12 season when we lost the Natty. The few years that followed were powerful offenses. Then the line of bad QBs and the spread offense becoming the norm really began and Miles didn't adjust.
There was a huge portion of people in here with the notion that he was the “best coach we have had here since Saban.” The other two were idiots. So there are a lot of quiet ranters also coping with this fact.
I too am reluctant cuz of his lack of experience, but the Lions have great culture and buy-in. Hopefully he is learning that and could bring it. And with him you are opening the door for getting former players and great leaders like Pat Pete and the honey badger and so many more from around his era who are bound to get involved. Would be a bold hire but it can’t get worse than this lifeless era.
