well its going to change to have the option of open air.
However what the atlanta/dome does provide is a guaranteed good weather for the game. which is important, especially in december

Shocking- a fan of an agricultural school is obsessed with grass

Haha no one wants to move the SEC championship into your shitty state that that is nowhere close to the geographic center of the SEC

If the wrong team wins because of weather, the SEC loses a whole bunch of money. I don't like the Georgia Dome but fully understand why the game is played indoors.
I love people not being able to make an excuse because of the weather.

No, December, my team actually goes to the game...I like it.

Geopgraphic center is Birmingham, but too far north and could get inclimate weather. How about we settle on Gulfport or Biloxi? It will most likely be 75-80 degrees and we shoot dice on the floating gambling houses. With the SEC network we should be able to build our own stadium called "SEC Network Stadium" that also converts to a horse track and concert venue in the off-season. Could even have a bowl called the SEC bowl where the last place SEC team places the first place Big X team.

There's zero chance they're moving the SECCG to your state that isn't even in the southeast.

It's not going to effect you any time soon so your opinion is worthless on the matter.

Watch the Pac-12 CG that day...it is outside.

To hell with that. Football should be played outside in the elements, preferably on grass/snow/mud. Both teams have to play in the same weather.
Worst part about joining the SEC is the amount of whining about weather below 60 degrees. The mild winter climates have turned you into a bunch of pansies. Lose the stupid douchey bow ties and throw on a coat forgodsake.

I just hate the fact that it's in Atlanta, the worst major city in the south other than Birmingham.

Yes. I hate indoor football.

Someone is mad that some of us can wear flip flops and shorts all year long.

If Legion Field wasnt in dissaray, the game would be there in the open air.

Says who?
Posted on 10/23/13 at 11:18 am to kingbob
Nashville would be a good location. 10 SEC teams are in adjacent States or in Tennessee. We could play at the Titan's house.

We play in Atlanta. DWI as the kids say.
