What a witty fact based retort!

Sorry Harry, truth hurts.

But for a couple of mediocre years with Nutt and very brief uneventful success with Petrino, Arkansas football has been subpar since the 1980s.

Change my mind.

Apparently you don’t follow Arkansas basketball since Muss has been here.

He had to build a new team last year then rebuild it after key injuries and made the sweet 16. Not as good as expected but under the circumstances it was a good coaching job.

Cal can recruit but lacks in the coaching department.

I don’t think you know how stupid you sound. Nick Smith was out 80% of last year. Brazile was out the year and projected top 20 in November. The offense was built around those two.

Muss took us to two Elite 8s. We had a first rounder on the first run and no other NBA player.

The 2nd elite 8 we had a 2nd round pick and nothing else.

Last year was disappointing but again two of the best players were hurt. We made the sweet 16 on a down year.

Cal hasn’t even made it out the first weekend since 2019 losing to garbage teams in the tournament.

Muss is nothing like Cal except for the fact he can recruit. He coaches circles around Cal

We made it exactly as far as any other team not named UCONN was going to make it. We lost to the hottest team in the country by double-digits, just like everybody else.

In a different bracket, we are possibly Final 4 this year, even after losing Brazile.

If we can put together a healthy year next year, we will be salty.

If and when you don’t, your fan base will just make excuses.

He’s sure won recruiting season the last few years though. We make excuses just like you made and it’s “cal can’t coach” from y’all every year lol. You sound just like a newly excited UK fan after we sign a top class every year and then shite the bed.

After Nick Smith came back you were 3-6 before the tournament and 5-7 overall. You were 7-6 while he was gone and when he came back your winning percentage went down. He missed just over 50% of your games.

Without Brazile you still were talented 3 5* and 5 4* recruits. Without Brazile you should have been Elite 8 or final 4 team. The last 3 National Champs had zero 5* players just good coaching.

The talent got you to the sweet 16 not Musselman. Musselman is a great recruiter and a ok coach. In the tournament talent can get you far, but good coaching can win Championships with or without great talent.

If Gates had your talent he would have won 30 games.

You also beat Kansas by 1 without one of the best college coaches coaching his team. Self on the sideline you lose.

Gates ain’t winning a thing pal.

Also, explain how we should have made an elite 8 or final 4? Nobody was beating Uconn. They were a roadblock. If we were on San Diego’s states side then sure. We had already beaten them.

Nick only came back for NIL. He had to come back to get some of his $$. He was never fully healthy

Musselmans first Elite he had one first rounder and no other nba players

Muss 2nd elite 8 he had 1 2nd rounder and that’s it.

Muss learned his lesson last year. He will never recruit 6 freshman again. He will take 2-3 and fill the roster with transfers like you see this year.

He’s widely considered a top 10 coach by anyone that covers the game. Learn ball kid

Not after this year

Anybody with any basketball IQ knows Kansas beats Arkansas if Self is coaching. Bill Self is a top 10 coach and probably a better recruiter than Musselman. Self is 2 years older than Musselman and has 4 Final 4 appearances, 2 National Championships, and 17 conference championships. I hate KU but they have a great coach.

Musselman is not a top 10 coach, but he is one of the best recruiters

Since joining the league, Muss has the most conference wins than any other team in conference.

Since joining the league, he’s been to 2 Elite 8’s and 3 sweet 16’s, which beats anyone else in the conference.

Stop saying he’s a bad coach, you are sounding like a moron.

Self has coached as a college HC since 1993. I’d hope he has more to show than a guy who has been a college HC since 2015.

At least look up their history to know Muss was strictly pros until 2014 when he got into NCAAB as an assistant to learn the ins & outs.
