So he didn't just lead a team to the national title game?

Well, of course delusional level gunptard. He is now coaching a team coming off of dynasty level success. If you really believe he is going to have that kind of success, tell us.

No. Bama fans know it, we know it. He’s at Bama because Norvell and Lanning turned down the job, Bama is a shite show without Saban.

Next question please.

He beat Texas twice in just over a calendar year. In the 2022 Alamo Bowl, then again in the playoffs in 23 season. He went undefeated last year, including beating Oregon twice.

I don't know what he's going to do at Alabama, but he's not a shitty coach.
This ^^

I don't know how he will do in the SEC, but I can't imagine he will do much worse with more talented players. Washington had some players for sure, but they werent exactly stacked with 5*'s.

Let’s say he had a great 1st season, do you think he can sustain Saban level success?

Was Texas making the playoffs and major bowl games then?

2019
OU Beat Texas in regular season
OU Beat Texas in Big-12 Championship
Texas Beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl
LSU skull drags OU and we figure out Riley is not it and he lost the fans that night.

I don't think anyone believes anybody, anywhere is going to have that kind of success. I think the majority of us would simply settle for just plain "success."

That reply might make sense if Saban had just retired from LSU, idiot.

To be honest he probably would've had 4 losses with last year's Bama team. Milroe sucked and barely beat Auburn after they got blown out by NM state. So, unless he made a pact with the devil and got 4 huge miracles thrown his way, he was probably better off.

Now he's stuck with Milroe again, against much tougher competition and won't have the universe kissing his arse like it did Saban's in 2023.

LSU fans once swore Saban would NEVER:

>> Stay at Alabama more than a couple of years
>> Recruit at the same level he recruited at LSU
>> Win at the same level he won at LSU
>> Was only in it for the money and would bolt in under 5 yrs

AND once Saban started piling up trophies, LSU fans said it was because:

>> Saban Over-signed
>> Had Mark Emmert in his back pocket
>> Medical redshirts
>> "Processed" players
>> Favorable cross-division rival
>> Favorable scheduling
>> Paid the refs
>> Wasn't a game day coach
>> He "out-talented" everyone
>> Couldn't evolve with the new 'offense heavy' style of football

Saban built a Dynasty at Alabama, and progressively proved the nay-sayers wrong. We'll see what CKD can do.

In the past Alabama could make a coach better than he'd do at many other schools.

NIL has made things different, but unless certain teams buy all the players Bama is trying to persuade we'll be OK.

So far it's actually going better than I'd have thought after losing Saban, but it's early.

Many thanks to Saban for not staying past his ability and dedication to outwork most coaches.
