Line up the top 4 teams from each 4 conferences and let them play it out in the 16 team playoff

I was amazed how quickly the PAC 12 fell apart. The pin head of a governor of California tried to block USC and UCLA from leaving. The rest is now history.

The big 12 somehow surviving is the biggest surprise to me. It’s been on the verge of dissolving for 10 years.
The most tenured members are now Kansas, Kstate, Baylor, and Ok state. Not what I think of when I think of a super conference.
But the big 10 is a bloated, overstretched crap show.

Have to guarantee one team from each conference in each corner of the bracket or else they’d make the 4 SEC teams fight each other in the first weekend.
