I’ve been there twice. High school atmosphere. Admittedly I’d take it over a lot of what I’m seeing these days.

quote:I noticed that at the game Saturday and I couldn't always understand the announcer. It was like the echo from the 70's type announcing. Like when they honored your track folks who placed in the nation. I couldn't understand a thing. Might be where I was sitting, but just my perception.
Lots of piped in music- yep- A&M fault.
quote:I think this could be improved greatly. Not bad and not a complaint, but just the same stuff you would see at any ball park. So much more to offer folks.
Concessions at A&M really aren’t bad. Obvious we aren’t relying on these sales to help cover Jimbo contract.
quote:This was so horrible Saturday and don't know how a coach and team maintain any momentum.
Lots of long commercial breaks- yep but that is shitty TV imposed shite.
quote:T'was hot for sure
Game times in hottest part of day- yep too often. Once again TV imposed shite.
However, as a visiting fan we enjoyed the experience overall sans the loss of course.
We enjoyed the Corps of Cadet march, and the band performance was pretty cool and I honestly do not usually pay attention to bands a lot of the time.

I bought some initial seats for the Auburn A&M game Saturday with a parking pass for only 52.00 per ticket. Seats were not bad but it was hot as hell. About 5-8 minutes in I found tickets under the overhangs for 30.00 per ticket for me and my son. It was worth the extra 100.00 with fee's to get out of the sun.
If I visit other stadiums I will wait for prices to go down and then purchase.

The atmosphere has gotten much better at Williams Brice quite honestly. The light show has had a big impact.
No doubt. It’s turned into an 80,000 person bourbon-fueled rave.
Tiger Stadium was at its best with 86,000 welders and pipe-fitters. It can still get loud but it reminds me of that Toby Keith song. It ain’t as good as it once was, but it’s as good once as it ever was.

When I was going to games at Legion Field, Denny/Bryant-Denny in the 70s and 80s, it was all about the game, the pageantry, the players. I don’t remember a lot of fluff except cheerleaders and the marching bands. We sat on bleachers with no backs. Concessions were popcorn, hotdogs, hamburgers and a Coke. Now we have to have a food court/bar with lounging areas, light shows and hip-hop cranked up between every break in the action. People today are so used to being entertained instead of just enjoying the game.

There were a lot of empty seats in the upper deck at Tiger Stadium Saturday night. They couldnt have been that expensive

cheapest tickets available up there were $70 when i looked. Thats not a lot for some people, but thats a big deal for a lot of people. especially if you're deciding between games.

The light shows are amazing. And frankly, the "piped in music" doesn't bother me but I'm not a boomer either.

Oh its definitely not cheap. I mean its true that some people cant afford to go to every game but a family of four spending $280 for an SEC game is not a crazy amount.

Tigger stadium with a bunch of empty seats against a good sec team… admittedly, I’m shocked. What gives?

I finally made it to an NFL game a few years ago and I was floored by this. I went to Steelers-Raiders opening day and I swear at least 20% of the crowd just hung out in the concourse the entire game. I could totally predict this happening with the Titans or Jaguars, but the Steelers? It was bizarre.
Never saw that happen at BDS or Beaver Stadium but we probably will eventually the way things are going. I certainly don't want it to be that way

That's actually not that bad and pretty close to what it cost a decade ago. College attendance is more of a hassle thing imo

Arkansas spent 160million to close in their North Endzone a few years ago…
I was there in those seats two weekends ago and it was amazing. Unlimited food and alcohol and I almost died of alcohol poisoning.

It’s gonna sound weird, but 2019 ruined a lot of fans. It’s like if your ex was Bella Hadid.

I was at the Bears-Dolphins game at Soldier Field last November. I have to say the Bears fans - I was with my cousins who’ve had season tickets for years - are serious about their football. I’m sure some were just there for the party, but it was as close to a college game atmosphere as you can get.

The little sports bar thing they did on top of the NEZ is kinda cool.
I wish this were popular 25 years ago when LSU built the east side upper deck. It is a great addition for you guys.

I don't understand why y'all play 11AM/noon games before November. I can understand apathy in that kind of heat.
TV Execs make that decision.

Same way at Sanford and Neeelan. Wish they would give the damn thing a rest!
