I think this is Bama's best team yet and I can't see a 2-3 loss caliber LSU team hanging with them. I think it will be competitive until the 3rd but Bama wins by at least three scores.

I like the fact we are coming off a bye week and nobody gives us a shot. Players will feed off of that and they will need every bit of extra motivation to compete here.

For LSu to win the game will have to be an ugly game like the UGA/UF game. lots of penalties/turn overs/ Personal Fouls / Injuries / etc.
If Bama plays at a high level then Bama will win convincingly.

Seriously though, to win, we have to rattle AJ, early. A pick or a fumble. He's playing great football, and he has a lot of confidence. To really have a shot, LSU has got to scare him a little.

I think most of the country wants LSU to win, but has doubts being they know Bama is a better more complete team. That said us LSU fans know it depends what team shows up Saturday. Even most Bama fans will say we have a good shot if the right team shows, the crowd stays in it, and we win almost ever other important aspect of the game. This is a huge challenge for LSU, but it can happen.

I hope you are right, but here are why I have my doubts on it "getting ugly".
1. LSU for the last several years has been and continues to be the only team that Bama has played that matches up with them Man for Man across the board at almost every position. LB last year and I'll say LB and QB this year are the exceptions.
2. LSU is as deep as Bama. Bama's lean on you till you collapse will take longer may not happen.
3. This game always seems to come down to individuals making plays. Never in the last couple of years have I seen an entire unit be it OL, DL, secondary ect just collapse for either team. Players getting their game on and winning individual battles wins this because of the even matches across the board.
Do I think Bama will win, yes. [inbeforehomer] Do I think it will be ugly no. A dominating performance by either team in this game is winning by more than two scores.

I'll be cheering my arse off for LSU. They are my second fav team outside of State. I don't think it will be close, however.

I think to win the game LSU's defense is going to have to force some turnovers and get points off of it.
Offense just needs to be a little productive, get some first downs, run the clock, win the field position battle, and PROTECT THE FOOTBALL.

I think LSU has a real shot if it came work some offense. Bama hasn't been tested yet so we will learn a good deal about them from this game.

LSU won't win. And it won't be close. I really thought LSU would be dominant this year but the offense is just horrible. With les being a offensive guy, he is doing a shitty job with it
