Just in terms of scheming Mullen is one of the best out there, too bad he’s arrogant to a fault, has the personality of sandpaper, and consistently outsmarts himself.

Kirby is a moron who would be hamstrung by the UF AD the way every coach since Urban was.

If you could mix them together, you would probably have a good coach. Kirby can recruit, Mullen can't. Mullen can get things done offensively, Kirby can't.

As good as Mullen's turnaround at Florida has been, he hasnt come that close to even making the playoffs. His peak so far has been playing Alabama pretty close in the SEC Championship. Kirby on the other hand is incredibly close to having a National Championship, 2 possibly 3 Playoff Appearances, 2 possibly 3 Conference Titles, and 4 Division Titles in the past 4 years.

I don't like Mullen's weirdness, but frick bowl cut. No one does less with more than Kirby.
Kirby only does one thing, from a coaching perspective better than Mullen. Recruit, that's it. Wheel route, anyone?

Mullen is the better X’s and O’s coach and it’s by a retry wide margin. Bowl is the far better recruiter and keeps Georgia in the hunt with great talent and good assistants.
Dan took Mississippi freakin State to the number one spot in the rankings. Bowl could never accomplish that at a school like State and smarter to not even try.
Georgia will be the better team this year on talent gap alone but Dan will slowly chip away and have UF in the hunt for the East sooner than later.,
Btw, I can’t stand the hunch but have to give credit where credit is due. He is one hell of a QB developer and you win football games with the best QB 9 outta 10.

Why trade 2 equals? Kirby is not an upgrade from Mullen. If I am trading I want an upgrade.
