Yes, I am jealous of TCU. Doing a LOT more with a lot less than A&M. Good for them.

Nothing against UGA but pulling for them because they are the underdog. Magical season for sure.

But jealous? Yes, absolutely. I posted this on the A&M board last week.

Nice, a reasonable response… and one I think most Ags would agree with.

The culture was horrible under Sumlin and is probably why Jimbo was paid a premium to come in and fix it.

I hate to say it but Texas A&M is a sleeping Giant, with the proper coach’s in place look out.

From an LSU perspective losing to A&M is more embarrassing than losing to any SEC team except maybe Vandy. Should never happen. It’s the worst.

A&M is good for a random upset every few years. That’s what keeps their spirits up. They live for that. Programs like LSU BAMA Georgia etc only live for national titles. Anything less is a disappointment.

I totally agree with you here. Losing to aTm is the only blemish on CBK's first season at LSU.

Being new to the program, new to Louisiana, new to the SEC -- I can forgive him for not understanding how shameful this loss would be and preparing the team appropriately.

It's alright, though -- another Natty with CBK will redeem the program. :)

Big12 board, I know, but this has to make them upset, right?
Not really. TCU proved that they were at least one of the best 2 teams in the country, so they deserve this opportunity

Texas struggling and being beneath their own standard doesn't really have anything to do with our opponents' success. Texas really only has themselves to blame for their recent struggles.

TCU is a great university.

Jealous? No.
Envious? Absolutely.
We (A&M and TCU) rarely compete in the same milieus anymore, so there’s not much context in which to be threatened.

Some of my best friends and famIy members hold degrees from TCU.

I genuinely wish the frogs all the best in their current football quest.
