I've not seen any Bama fans complaining. In fact, I saw several talking about how he took over some games.

Trying to figure out who is more butthurt of Kentucky’s success...it’s between aTm, Mizzou, and for some strange reason
I don't know a single A&M fan that's upset with UK success.

Kentucky’s “blind squirrel finds a nut” season. Congrats. Back to the cellar shortly for you
Not one, huh.

Quinnen Williams is a better player, was more dominating, and did not hide out in the SEC East. However, he played NT where he was double-teamed constantly, and not some sexy edge position where he could make one or two plays a game and fool the untrained masses.
BluegrassBelle, when next you post please post some pics.

And case and point.

Jesus Christ. God damn Kentucky football fans. Congrats on your miracle season. Quit seeking validation.
You mean like certain Bama fans who thought with the Avery hire they’d take over SEC Basketball?
Come on now. And there’s no need to seek validation where they had a great season and had great players on the field. Just pointing out the elitist BS.
But to be fair, there were complaints over Stoops winning COY by Bama fans too.

Congrats Josh Allen, I was glad to witness Kentucky have a successful year. Josh Allen and Quinnen Williams are two great D players, either one was deserving of any reward they receive. I'd bet good money that both players made offensive coordinators lose sleep while scheming around them....
Now total stats from any defender might not be telling the whole story though. My only grip with defensive rewards is they focus to much on individual stats. Defensive players/teams are shown at their best, when they're on the sidelines, after forcing opponent’s offense into a bunch of 3 & outs. So how is a great defensive player supposed to get all those awesome stat numbers after they help D force many successful 3 & outs? Seems any great defensive players playing on a crappy or average defense, who’s defense can't get off the field-of-play enough, would benefit statistically after receiving more opportunities to add defensive stats numbers to their season totals.
What's more important defensively to you?
Getting off field after D forces 3 & outs or Defense racking up other D stats numbers because their teams defense can't stop opponents’ offenses? I’d pick 3 & outs without question , and I would think most fans would want that also. Now after thinking outside the normal defensive stats box, what team defense is going to give any defender better opportunities to make more tackles, sacks, turnovers, and other add other defensive stats to season totals? A defensive player who's defense routinely stops opponents’ offenses after many 3 & outs or a defense that let an offense run 8-14 plays like it was fashionable to do so?
I'm not sure if College ball keeps up with total number of defensive plays a defender plays compare to made plays, but seems this should go into that equation when figuring out the best defensive player, right? Is there a percentage stat to how many defensive plays a defender makes compared to the total number of plays defender actually plays in a game/season? Doing so would bring the "All Important" 3rd down efficiency % into any Defensive players total worth equation.
Lastly, 3rd down % success, red-zone TD's -vs- FG's % success, and scoring average a D gives up per/game are the 3 most important defensive stats. These individual defensive rewards should consider these D stats, is all I'm saying....

At least this season, Kentucky had a pretty stout defense all season. And Allen also got his numbers while being doubled for most of it. For instance, Mizzou didn’t get a first down in the whole second half of their game.

Because it's totally legitimate to laugh at the idea that Saban didnt win it.
Saban just had the greatest regular season in SEC history. Stoops had a very nice 9 win season and lost to 5-7 Tennessee by 20.

Please find one single person who said that. Literally, find 1 person.
But hey, his first year we were picked 13th and finished like 7th. He should have won coach of the year like Stoops did.

No, you actively went out searching for critics. You knew Bama had a contender and it was a good bet you could find at least one Bama person butthurt about it.
Ive heard zero talk of this on sports radio and ive seen no threads about it here. Here's your attention though

Not sure about Bama fans as a whole, but I was happy to see Josh Allen get the Bednarik!

Per comments sections I can confirm Kentucky fans want Calipari fired for only winning 1 title with 75 NBA players.
Seems insane to me.

I agree, Kentucky had one of the best SEC defenses this season. It's always a pleasure to watch any defensive unit play as one, and Kentucky did this. Not sure how much longer Kentucky can hold onto their coaching, but I hope they continue to have success.
