I do remember him taking some shite over his analysis....pretty ballsy to go against everyone, but now hes looking like hes actually trying at what he does.

This is an insane take.

A lot of 5 star QBs don’t pan out.

Most 5 stars are busts but most 5 stars also looked like they had real big potential in high school unlike Arch. Zero chance without the Manning name he would have been a blue chipper 4 or 5 star recruit. Curious if we ever see Arch is playing over a better QB at TX also if Arch doesn't start improving - that will be because of his name also if we find out he is.

No disrespect, but this whole thread stupid. There are hundreds of hit and miss prospects and division one sports every year. Not all of them come with the genetic godliness of a manning, but it happens nonetheless.

That’s why he quit going to camps. He didn’t go to the elite 11 or any other camps his senior year.

glad A&M wasnt a major program.
I figured even if he was good, the circus wouldnt be worth it.
I'm actually surprised hiw well Texas handled it.

Smart, Saban, and Kiffin were in an intense recruiting battle for him. They all wanted him.

Show us the other QBs who were made top 5 stars with the tape Arch had playing pee wee league football and then struggling anytime they played a decent team?

I had forget about that guy but Bishop Gorman isn't that joke level Arch was playing I think and he put up big numbers combined passing and rushing his senior year.

Reminds me of Chris Simms vs Major Applewhite.

Yep I remember that mess with his whining dad. Franks didn't have a real big name but for some reason Mullen kept playing him over Trask no matter how bad he played. Our defense saved quite a few games for us during that time though.

Just bc a recruit said he was offered does not mean he was really given a final offer and recruited hard by a school until the end. Schools give recruiting trip offers, say they would like to get to know them more. Do evaluation over time. Etc.
