Exactly. And regardless, humor comes from absurdity and feeling uncomfortable. Laughter is a release of the tension created by the comedian and the material. Dave Chappelle as black KKK leader Clayton Bigsby is a perfect example. It's hilarious for those very reasons.
Exactly. The funny thing about it is how absurd it is. It’s a microcosm of how Sark is being treated because ESPN couldn’t get their shite together. If my team was down 20 at halftime, the last thing I want to do is have you waste my time trying to correct the problem. I’m not giving you an inch after that comeback either. For what? So I can give a canned answer to your dumb questions? I’ll be at the press conference. Ask me there.

I didn't pay a nickel to see Holly Rowe or hear her take. I don't care. And at the end of the day she asked a question and he responded with a celebratory song. It is likely he fulfilled his contractual obligation.
I remember in the 90's...the Band Mazzy Star would go do interviews. They'd get asked a question and Hope Sandavol would just give them a long, awkward pause and then rattle off some nonsense unrelated to the question. Sark should treat it like that. Either that or just give random quotes from other coaches like "We stand on business" or "Imagine if we had pro players"

That isn't up to him to determine what is and isn't the obligation. Not for the money he is being paid.
If this sparks a discussion that changes things going forward, then maybe he is an agent of change. But ultimately, it is the people who literally pay the conferences who literally pay his university who literally pays him that make the call of what he needs to do to keep that money train flowing.

Well have you read his contract? I am sure Sark is aware of what his contractual obligations are. Maybe he didn't meet them and decided at the moment he'd rather pay the fine and celebrate with his team. I don't know and neither do you but people acting all offended about it are just looking for a reason to be mad. Dude I am a die hard Falcons fan...nobody hates Sark more than I do. But among the reasons I hate him this isn't one.

I'm not a falcons fan.
And I don't hate the man one bit.
He can act like a psychotic jackass.
And I call him on it.
But Sark doesn't move the needle in my life one way or another.
I am just pointing out that the guy making $12M/yr plus bonuses plus endorsements is acting like the entitled bitch in this scenario. Not the "journalist" who was doing what her bosses literally demand of her every game.

Sark has bosses too. I am sure they are happy with how he did his job on Saturday

Have to say that video sucked and Arch sucked for thinking it was funny.

And his bosses have bosses. The money tree isn't in Texas. It is in Bristol.

Pretty sure there is a fairly fruitful money tree there in Austin. Sark will be fine
