Newman wasn’t handed the keys to the offense like he thought would happen.

Mathis had brain surgery last year. What a come back story if he does get the start.

Great story. I hope he rebounds well from his week 1 loss.

This works better when you actually win games.

I just don't know why you guys do this to yourselves.

You don't hit the transfer portal twice if you have a stud on your roster.

I don’t understand all the downvotes but I personally don’t care what team it is, when an athlete goes thru brain surgery you wish him the best.

I hate Ole Miss for obvious reasons but if a player of theirs is fighting off an illness then the rivalry stops there in regards to a player.

These are young men still growing up and just because they play for a different team, I mean come on. Wish the guy well as everyone should.

Whatever happens is fine with me. We got the # 1 or 2 QB coming in next season. If no qb emerges, then pretty smooth transition into next year.

It's JT Daniels. It was always going to be JT Daniels.

Has Kirby actually developed a QB?

The only one you could name is Fromm who regressed last year. In fact, Stetson Bennett is the only QB on your roster who actually has live snaps with the team.

Why are you so sure those guys are going to be successful?

No way to rebound after being steamrolled by Arkansas.

As bad as Fromm was last year, if he had gotten injured, I’d have said screw it, season is over. I don’t think that’s the case here. I’m not claiming Daniels or Mathis are going to be spectacular, but we’re in a much better place with the QB depth chart now.

OMG! He hasn't developed a QB in the 4 years he has been a HC!

Just stop, dude. Your coach kept your newest "savior" on the bench in favor of Franks!

Out of curiosity, who was the last QB Mullen has developed in his career? Franks regressed or stayed the same....Fitzgerald regressed....I guess Dak from 9 years ago?

Straws: Mullen-QB guru. Kirby can't develop a QB.
