So you run the spread and bringing in a pro-style QB next year? Ags Kyle Allen, 2014 Pro-Style Quarterback Scottsdale, AZ (Desert Mountain) Ht: 6-2.5 | Wt: 185 | 40: 4.87 CLASS OF 2014(Early Graduate) Bama's Ricky Town, 2015 Pro-Style Quarterback Ventura, CA (St. Bonaventure) Ht: 6-4 | Wt: 205 | 40: 4.60 CLASS OF 2015(Early Graduate)

You realize that our Spread offense doesnt require a dual-threat QB right? Basically if a QB in HS isn't fast and elusive but good at throwing, they give him the "Pro-Style" label.

Oh please, "owning in state recruiting" is obviously overstating it, but considering Texas pumps out 30+ Top 250 prospects a year and has 9 FBS programs(not to mention LSU/Bama swiping some), it stands to reason that getting even half would be considered a huge victory. That would mean most other schools are only able to get 2-4 of the best HS players.

Without the elusiveness of Manziel, Bama might win that game by 4 or 5 TDs this year. It seemed like much of the game Bama had great pressure on him, only to have him spin out of a tackle a make a big play.

That's fine, I would hope with the recruiting coming in we aren't fielding a defense that couldn't stop a lot of high school offenses. A&M beat bama last year scoring 29 points.

With the GOAT we scored 42, but hopefully we don't need that many in the future.

Have you seen our non-conference? All we have to do to get to 6-6 is beat Arky and Msst. I think we can muster one more win somewhere.

What was your prediction for A&M's first season in the SEC? Just wondering how much weight I should put in that prediction.

Well, honestly, I underestimated them. However, the year before they joined, when they had a preseason ranking of #7? I called that they were way overrated.

ETA: Seeing aTm as the last game on the schedule is 'Cause I hate you guys and stuff.

So you think A&M will suck every year no matter what. Phew, I thought I was dealing with someone who could look at a team objectively.

I think ags have just surpassed the pigs for trolling champions.

Look at the OP, it is a masterpiece of ignorance, arrogance AND optimism. But the real beauty of it is its complete lack of self-awareness. Trolling without even knowing they're trolling.

Yes, the pigs are still good, but they still show a bit of self-consciousness when trolling, as if they know they're trolling, and everyone else knows they're trolling, but they still bring them in. While effective, they lack the, dare I say it, naiveté the ags display.

In the immortal words of Voltaire, "Optimism is the madness of insisting that all is well when we are miserable."

Bravo, ags*, well done. :golfclap:

*Telefax and KeyserSoze excepted. Their attempts are boorish and clumsy and lack the finesse that comes with the complete lack of a sense of self, place and time that is exhibited in the OP.

I know we have two losses but they are to top 10 teams and were both pretty close. Sometimes a team can be good and still have multiple losses.

Case in point, our 2011 team led by double digits at half time in 6 or our 7 losses and lost every game by 1 score. That was a solid team that just didn't get the breaks. Thats why everyone was shocked when we won the next season cause they saw 7-6 and didn't actually look at the performance of the team.
