I would like to modestly suggest, this is the place we all just put down our verbal swords and pay homage to the national power that is ALABAMA?

14 years in a row this football dynasty, unlike any former dynasty, has been ranked #1 sometime during the season. Call it consistency, resiliency, call it a freakin' miracle if you like. All I know is that the previous record is 7 and this year means we have physically doubled that astounding record.

I would be remiss and downright derelict in my responsibility as a BAMA spokesperson if I didn't mention that it isn't just the national titles that have made this football program unlike any other in its history, it's obviously the total domination and commitment to excellence in between, week after week, poll after poll.

Now, back to our regularly schedule verbal sparring match on the rant.

Yep, Georgia must beat Clemson in our fist game of the season to be considered a top 4 team.

Oh look, another post by Old Marge about an insignificant team that it no longer cares about anymore.

Covid. Lots of teams were missing guys all throughout the year plus no OOC and limited games.

Okay, but that applied to everyone..... including us.

So how does that explain it? Go ahead and connect the dots for us there.

You are right so far

But they are begging to follow us to the SEC so it is somewhat relevant

That's the record that no one will ever approach.

Why stop counting at 12? What’s the specific reason for that? Because it would be 7 of the last 24 seasons having finished unranked if you went back another 12, including the fact that they’ve finished the season ranked each of the last 3 seasons, which was ahead of Texas A&M 2/3 of those times.

But don’t let that ruin your narrative or anything

Good point, they failed to finish ranked despite playing in the weakest college football conference

Times Texas failed to finish ranked in the Big 12: 8 times in 25 seasons (32%)

Times Texas A&M failed to finish ranked in Big 12: 12 times in 16 seasons (75%)

Lol ouch

Do you think the 2020 A&M team would have does worse with tu's schedule?

Not sure - albeit history tells us y’all struggle very mightily with big 12 competition so who knows?

Nice moving of the goalposts btw

The big 12 has been and still is the 3rd strongest conference. That’s not really a debate and nobody in the national media seems to claim anything different. The ACC and PAC are significantly weaker football conferences than the big 12. Another oldtard post from his own little world.

The big 12 was actually a strong conference before the last realignment

It went from second to dead last in strength

There is no way you can say the PAC is stronger than the Big 12
