You're right.

The Big 12 was actually second in 2020 and second in 2018. 2019 was a year below the Big 12's standard - the conference was third.

Come on man, even with those maroon tinted goggles there is no way in hell you truly believe this. You just want to make it seem like Texas is playing in a high school league when that isn't the case.

That's right, you started catching L's in early September in 2018-2019.

3-2 going into October both years.

Gee, 3 losses to teams ranked #1 or #2, in the first two years of a new coach. The other to a much lower ranked Auburn (#8).

Congrats?

I posted empirical proof of sarge's stance being false, but we all know sarge is going to willfully ignore it to protect the narrative

Absolutely. Fun fact:

There have been 165 AP Polls since the start of the 2011 season. Alabama has been lower than 7th in the AP Poll for five weeks, and outside the Top 5 for a total of 11 weeks. In that span, Alabama has been No. 1 in 86 of them.

Well they don't play defense in Texas HS football and they don't play defense in the Big 12.

All of your narratives about Texas require acting like your record in the '00s means anything when you have sucked arse since then including multiple seasons with a losing record. Your only claim to fame in the memory of any HS Recruit at this point was beating a UGA team that had been knocked out of the playoff and didn't want to show up. My son is a HS Senior, he was 2 when VY was playing for you.

Looking at your roster there is also no reason to think that is changing anytime soon though so I guess I can understand your need to the Bush Administration years to feel better.

BIG 12 went 6-0 in bowl games .........also finished with the highest defense percentage of all conferences.

2 new years six blowouts.

Sooners fan taking up for Texas.... they lost 3 games by a combined 9 points.....

Did you know SEC fans:

This is now the 100th appearance at No. 1 in the AP poll by Alabama under coach Nick Saban.

You can defend them sir. I’m here to watch their failure and applaud it. In no way ever will I support, root for or defend this trash. I’m fourth generation of longhorn hate. When I have grandchildren, they will be taught this hate without exception.

In football, we're #5 right now and it's pretty much not even debatable. Cristobal is building something that will last at Oregon. Now USC needs to bring in a coach that isn't Magoo. The PAC needs a contender.

Has less to do with Texas sucking since 2010 (which is for the most part a fact) and more to do with the fact that an A&M poster took a shot at Texas saying they hadn't finished ranked 7 of the last 12 seasons when... A&M also hasn't finished ranked 7 of the last 12 seasons.

So in conclusion, the only thing that has really changed since the days of VY and Colt is that Texas has fallen down to the mediocre level A&M has been at for much of their existence.

All A&M will tell you though is that they have ascended into the elite of college football.
