Alabama would be better off to lose to AU. They would still get in the playoff and not have to play a extra game.

State loses by a late touchdown to Bama...moves up a spot.

Last time LSU lost by a last minute touchdown to Bama we fell ten spots.

We should alert the FBI, this seems fishy, almost criminal.

Prior Week
#13 Michigan State lost @ #8 Ohio State by 45, dropped to #22
#14 UCF beat UConn - stayed at #14
#15 USC won @ Colorado - moved to #12
#16 Penn State beat Rutgers - moved to #13
#17 Virginia Tech lost to Georgia Tech - dropped out
#18 Mississippi State lost to #1 Alabama by 7 - moved to #17
#19 Washington State beat Utah - moved to #15
#20 Memphis didn't play, moved to #18
#21 Michigan beat Maryalnd, moved to #19
#22 South Florida didn't play, dropped to #23

Does any of that seem crazy to you, or is this just part of the perpetual whining of being an LSU fan?

I expect the CFP to be the exact same way, with Clemson and OU likely swapped.

The committee seems to be giving Clemson a big pass for Syracuse due to injuries.

Such laughable bullshite. Syracuse is awful. They are going to go 4-8 or 5-7.

Losing to Syracuse is the equivalent of Alabama losing to Vanderbilt or Arkansas. I'm sure everyone would just forget that.

I think part of it is expectations. People have gotten used to Alabama crushing scrub teams whereas people are used to Clemson finding a way to lose to one occasionally. Thus Clemson sort of gets a pass for it since people are desensitized. Not very fair but subconsciously probably plays a part.
